LeoInfra Test; This is how you can create Hive account with X account.

Onboarding people to Hive is part of the major thing I've been doing since I became fairly active on the Blockchain. I believe most of the things I know about Hive has made it so much easier for me to be there for Newbies whenever the need arises. This somehow helps me to stay sharp because I always like to dig around and see what's new and what's worth knowing. Haha.

You just don't know when someone will come asking about the difference between RC and HP. Stuff like that.

Do y'all know that Newbies can now get a Hive account through their X (Twitter) accounts?

Oh, my!

That's really interesting and I think it's happening at a very good time because a lot of folks who are trying to crate Hive account seems to be running into some ticketing issues recently.

I know someone who has been trying to get an account but the series of issues attached to getting a free account seems to be a little too much. Since Leofinance offers an alternative that involves getting an account with your Twitter account, I decided to give that a shot with one of my Pakistan friend who has been trying to get into Hive.

Here is a rundown of the process...

If anyone is interested in getting into Hive through their Twitter account, the sign up url to explore is embedded in this. Check that out and save it where you can easily fetch it.

Immediately she opened the URL and chose to open an account through her already existing Twitter account, she got redirected to a page where she authorized LEO to access her Twitter account.

She did the authorisation and progressed to the next page where she had to verify the availability of the username of her choice. She did her trial and error until aniya001 turned out to be a unique name and free-to-use.

She forged ahead with the name, pushed the 'continue' button and voila... The account creation became successful.

Whenever I get someone onboard and they successfully pass through the account creation stage, I usually like to go digging to see if the account is already created on the Blockchain. Let's do it together; @aniya001.

Activities already performed with the account;

Since I'm new to this account creation format, I asked the lady to test some activities on her new account. Have a look;

She voted a thread with the account on Leothreads. The next screenshot which I got from her shows a thread which she made with the account.

Y'all know how on-chain activities drain the RC of Newbies. Haha. Just to make sure she's having a good start, I sent in some delegations her way. Now, she can buzz around and enjoy her Hive account.

Note

At the moment, I still don't know how to find her Hive Keys. There is no key at all and I've also seen people making similar complaints. Maybe there is no Hive Keys attached to these sorta accounts. I dunno, but we will know more as time goes on.
