Hawkeye; MCU went bananas with this Short Series.
Anyone who has been following the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) can relate to the coming of Thanos and the incident that happened within the next 5 years after half of the whole universe vanished due to the snapping of his finger. Thanos is one of the more fierce villains in TV history and he gave the entire MCU superheroes a run for their money.
The show I will be highlighting in this TV show review is an MCU production that was set after the defeat of Thanos and the death of a couple of remarkable original MCU superheroes who lost their lives while trying to put an end to Thanos and the hell he rained on the universe. Of course, his defeat also meant the return of half the world's population who disappeared for a whopping 5 years.

Hawkeye is one of the MCU characters who lost so much when Thanos snapped a finger. His entire family disappeared into a void and he was left with nothing, just his bow, arrow, and a deep rage. He lived in misery and spent the entire 5 years as a ruthless masked vigilante who cracks down on triads and other organized crime organizations. He was reputably known as Ronin and he didn't spare any crime organization while on his rampage.
This show is set in the post-Thanos moment when the Avengers have already defeated Thanos and brought back half of the population that disappeared. Hawkeye reunited with his family and was ready for a new beginning that didn't involve fighting crime. However, all hell got let loose when the suit he wore as Ronin resurfaced in a black market auction. It got into the hands of Kate Bishop, a young lady who is a big fan of Hawkeye.
Kate wore the suit just for a night to fight off some criminals. What she didn't expect is that the crime world who have been searching for Ronin would come after her without knowing that she wasn't the one who messed up their organization. Hawkeye found out about this and decided to step in, but things were already blown out of proportion when he got involved.
All Hawkeye is asking for is an opportunity to enjoy the Christmas celebration while spending time with his family. However, the underworld crime world is not interested in what he wants. He has to get it himself while putting his life on the line.
The plot is cool and since this show has only 6 episodes, I tick it as a short series that is worth spending the weekend on. Anyone who's a big fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will surely enjoy seeing the introduction of Yelena, a black widow assassin, in the second half of the show.
One of the things I noticed about this and with some recent MCU Movies and TV shows is that there already seems to be a reintroduction of a new generation of superheroes. The original MCU superheroes are retiring from their role and Marvel is trying really hard to have them replaced with a new blend of superheroes. I'm genuinely interested in seeing how they will achieve all these.
