My Hive Goals for 2023 after first week
I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2023 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. If I am behind in any of my goals, it will allow me to make changes so I do accomplish them.
Progress
Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. It doesn't look like it was a bad week and my consistency has proven effective in building my account.
HP
It looks like a fairly decent week because I did go up quite a bit in terms of HP. In terms of HP, over the course of a week, I have earned about 69 HP in total. This is almost 10 HP per day and if I keep that up, I should be able to reach my goals without any issues. Of the 69 HP, 13 HP is from curation and that means I am closing into 2 HP per day for curating content here on Hive. My goal here is to just make sure that my voting power is never full.
HBD
I have added 20 HBD to my savings to get closer to my goal. It will compound with the rest of my HBD in my savings right now for the 20% APR. As I get closer to my HBD goal, I will stop adding as much to this goal and start using it for HP or LEO Power if I am behind.
LEO Power
I am saving up my LEO for LPUD which happens in less than a week. Ideally, I would like to power up 321 LEO but it's the first month but I only have 257 right now. As I am making good progress on my HBD goal, I think that I will definitely be able to make up for it later in the year.
Conclusion
It hasn't been exactly a week since I posted my goals but it has been over 1 week since the year started. So I plan on posting up a report like this weekly to keep myself accountable and to see where I need to improve. The starting point of my goals was when I declared my goals but either way, I am making decent progress toward accomplishing all of these goals. As long as I stay consistent, I don't think there should be any issues accomplishing my goals. I am also considering adding a commenting goal to my goals because I want to make sure that I do a lot of comments over the year though but I haven't decided yet. I did have one last year but I wanted to keep my goals simple this year so I haven't added it just yet.

It looks like you are up and running with your goals already which is motivation. You are already a great commenter, setting a comment goal will enhance your performance a great deal.

Nice work, 10 HP a day is a decent amount. I too am saving my LEO for LPUD. I don't earn much LEO with my blog but I do come near the 150 MIN power-up required for the monthly badge. I look forward to reading your future goal posts. Good luck with reaching them all.

Thank you. I don't earn too much but I think I can earn enough if I am active enough. I did lower my HBD goal this year to give myself a little bit of a buffer incase I needed it to buy some LEO.

They are good goals and the progress is programmed. I think Hive will go up this year and you will vastly exceed HBD's goal if you stay committed to it.
Yea. I didn't make the HBD goal as large as I wanted to because I wanted some extra room for HP or LEO Power if I fall behind. Overall, I think I only need to invest 10 HBD a week and I will get there if I account for my HBD interest.
