Aimless - Is it a ruleset in Splinterlands that is only nice to have?

So guys another week and we are in for another round of sharing your battle in the Splinterverse!

I still do not really feel comfortable with the new format. I mean finding THE RIGHT battle to share which also has the corresponding ruleset seems kind of hard to me.
But I will keep experimenting. And in the end it is all about the journey, so let us see how my journey in this series of posts will develop!

"Aimless" is the ruleset of the week and I think it is rather easy to understand if you read the following "Description: All monsters have the Scattershot ability."

My first thoughts on this ruleset are that this another of the "nice to know" rulesets without too much of an importance. Although I acknowledge that it might have some importance given the right setup. Still I think it has a low relevance for most of the setups.

So let us have a look at one of my battles that included this ruleset:

This battle comes from brawl format (as mentioned above I find it hard to find THE relevant battle for a given week's topic).

If you look at the setups both players decided not to give too much attention to the 'Aimless' ruleset. But I had some units at least ;)

Right in the beginning in round 1 you see the might of 'Scattershot' ability by 'Aimless' in action. My ranged unit was able to bypass Night Ghoul's 'Taunt' ability and hit a more vulnerable target instead and take it right off the board.

In round 2 I saw another enemy unit gone, but not by 'Scattershot' this time.

In round 3 I lost my unit which benefited the most from this ruleset, ...

...but still I was able to deal some decent damage and my victory was obvious by round 5.

So did I change my mind about 'Aimless' ruleset? -Not really. I think it is nice to have and it helps to disrupt your opponent's plans by bypassing 'Taunt' ability units. Still I think it is not one of those rulesets that will completely change a game.
