First off, it's LPUD!

As we know, it's time to stake LEO as a community - a tradition in the Leoverse that started just over a year ago and it's still going strong with tens of thousands of LEO being powered up in a single day. I believe today is no different and it will be very interesting how the numbers will be on this October LPUD.

And because I'm intentional in growing my Leo Power, I did it in the first hour of the day (UTC time). Excited much, huh! You could say that but it's also how I got used to when staking HIVE (I do it daily). I tend to get caught up with things as the day progresses and I want to make sure they are done before I end up forgetting (although it rarely happens).

And so, 1k LEO has just been added. And guess what? I've just grown into a Newborn Cub, yay!



Initially (and I've shared this before), I planned on consolidating all the Leo Power in my alt but since my long-form content creation is mostly on this account, I decided to grow its LP too. It honestly feels like starting all over again but it's going to fun adding to it from this day forward.

Anyway, the latest Leo Stats Report shows that 72% of LEO is staked. I don't know about you but for me, that already shows the solid support and belief of stakeholders in the project (and in the token).



If you're wondering who staked the LEO token the most, you can check it out in the LEO richlist. Except for the oracle accounts (b-leo, p-leo etc), most of those in the top are active users in the community which is pretty impressive and while they continually earn rewards as they curate content, they will also benefit when the Leo Ads revenue sharing starts to distribute Leo Power.

Leo Ads Revenue Sharing

This is the most awaited 'event' in the community. We have been hearing about Leo Ads revenue since last year and the exact date has finally been set. There is no more "wens" when it comes to this for the smart contract will start to go live on November 1st.

The ads displayed in the InLeo UI have been accumulating revenues (per Khal, ads partners pay in ETH, BTC, Stablecoin) and those will be used to buy back LEO, adds them into the Leo Ads Pool which will then be distributed daily (based on the Leo Ads APY) as Leo Power to those who have staked LEO.

While I don't have much LP in this account, it will be interesting to see how it is going to increase overtime with my own staking and with the Leo Ads protocol adding to it every single day.

Evergreen Long-Form Content Rewards Pool

This is another way to reward those who create evergreen content via the InLeo UI. By evergreen, it means the content still generate views no matter the passage of time.

The good thing is that even those content (posts) written or created years ago (in the Leo frontend) are indexed and when they reach a certain views threshold (minimum number of views), they will start to receive rewards from the evergreen content rewards pool.

Accordingly, the ads revenue from the long-form UI are split between the Leo Power APY and evergreen long-form content rewards pool. The ads revenue from the threads page are 100% for Leo Ads revenue pool.

This are just brief information based on what I understood from the AMA and Khal said we are going to read more details about this on the 1st of November. But if you are interested, you can also watch the WenSoon Show. You can forward the video to 49:00 for the exact topic.

These are pretty good reasons to at least grow our LP and create content via the InLeo UI, don't you think?

Happy LPUD congratulations on successfully powering up Leo.
Indeed it's 72% of Leo is in holding seems strong support in my opinion. And moreover, the good thing is most of the Leo stakeholders are super-active here which gives us hope.
Leo Ads Revenue is the most awaited thing.

Yeah, I'm excited too! Mostly because, thanks to your timely reminder, I just did my first LPUD with 150 LEO😃
I've been looking forward to this for about 3 weeks and might have missed it if I hadn't read your post. I hope this is my first of a continuous run.

Happy HPUD !!! Thats a very nice start to this account.
And thanks for the update on leo-ads and the evergreen content. I had not heard that they were going to do someone on the evergreen front, but I think its a great idea. It will be interesting to see how that pans out !

Beautiful chart. Thanks for sharing the difference in % between the liquid and the staked $LEO. Thank you also for reminding us about the upcoming Leo Ads revenue sharing and Evergreen Content Rewards on PeakD.com. Unfortunately, all I can do for now is just to stake $LEO, curate content, and not much on content creation. Sorry for that.

I was a bit confused when I saw "New born cub." I knew you definitely weren't just getting there. Very nice that you're growing LEO on this account too.

I think LeoAds is a really brilliant thing Khal and the team are doing. It's fascinating, so much so that I want to be a part of by staking more now.
