Hive Against Hate Manifesto

We are Hive Against Hate, a campaign that aims to combat the rampant cyberbullying on HIVE.io.

We believe that HIVE

  • Is a platform that values free speech, privacy, respect, and responsibility.
  • That everyone has the right to express themselves without fear of harassment, intimidation, or abuse.
  • That diversity is a strength and that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and compassion.
  • That cyberbullying is NOT acceptable or inevitable on HIVE. It harms individuals and communities. It undermines creativity and innovation. It threatens the future of HIVE.

We are here to take direct action against cyberbullying on HIVE.

We are here to:

  • Raise awareness and educate users about the issue and its impact
  • Support victims and bystanders of cyberbullying and provide them with resources
  • Report and combat content that is clearly cyberbullying
  • Promote positive interactions and collaborations among users
  • Celebrate the vibrancy and diversity of HIVE’s content

We are here to make HIVE a safer and more inclusive place for everyone.

This should be entertaining.
Maybe, illuminating, as well.

I definitively support free speech.
Especially, the speech needing protection from any mobs.
So, good luck with this.
I hope it can bring back some of the free speakers that have been driven off, or voted negative.
Their voices count, too.

Very interesting initiative, surely many people will feel identified.

The design of the logo with the bee, as if it were a wax seal, is very original and striking.

I wish you the best of success and that the voices of those who are a minority or weaker be respected and heard.
