Wisdom From a 90's a Kid to The Next Generation

Being a '90s kid, I would say I had the opportunity to get a glimpse of the 80's lifestyle in the late '90s and also still being young enough to experience the lifestyle of the present generation, can I say the best of both worlds and now, I can still easily blend in, without a doubt, they are two distinct
generation with a lot of changes both the positive and negative

From my almost three decades of experience, the advice I would love to give to the next generation is quite cupful, but for the sake of following the current prompt, let me just narrow it down to one Be Original

My dear younger ones, I think one of the first emotions and feelings I had to battle with among my peers and also growing fully into an adult and seeing adults still caught up in the web of fake life, made me realize that this is a time bomb that if not controlled, considering the way the world is going already especially would cause huge damage, since the invention of technology, social media especially, has made people lose themselves to fake life. One question I keep asking myself is why we think less of ourselves. the first piece of advice I want to give you is to embrace your individuality, your uniqueness, your originality, you don't need to conform to the world's standard or fit in with the crowd.

The older I get, the more I realize, that being different doesn't make you weird or lesser than anyone, rather it makes you special Don't be afraid to stand out, express yourself, and pursue your passions, even if they're not considered "cool" by your peers.

And remember, there is always room to overtake, the fact that someone is doing better than you today doesn't mean it will remain that way forever, continue being you, and for sure, your hard work will surely pay off. It is a common thing to read about young boys and girls of this generation putting themselves into dubious or immoral acts, just because they want to blend in, seeing this act makes me pity how the next generation would turn out because the present generation is the fathers and mothers if tomorrow, I hope the future generation gets to see this article and take a better turn than what we see in the world today.

Authenticity is a rare commodity in today's world. Everyone's trying to present a perfect image, to hide behind masks and filters. But I want to encourage you to be real, to be vulnerable, and to be yourself. Embrace your flaws, your quirks, and your imperfections. These are the things that make you unique, that make you relatable, and that is what will attract the right people to you who truly care about you and not the ones that mount pressure on you to go astray, forgetting morals and in-depth culture.

Please, Don't lose yourself in the aim to catch up with the world, you are special!.

Yes it does, I'm glad you resonate.

Kai babe, you said one of the things I have in mind. Originality is gradually fading away, everyone just want to prove a point to who? I don't know sef. They go as far as they can to make sure they measure up. Living a simple life with a goal saves a lot but many have not come to understand this.

Thanks for sharing this bomb

It's good to know you understand my point of view, the gradual loss of our originality in this current generation due to pressure to level up will eventually fade us away, and the next generation doesn't need to continue this fake life.

When we are more original, it helps us discover our potential without following the crowd

These are really words of wisdom friend.

The older I get, the more I realize, that being different doesn't make you weird or lesser than anyone

I so much love this point here, because the earlier we become comfortable with being unique the better our future.

Exactly, there is no need to conform to anyone's standard, just be you!

Many people lost themselves in the crowd without notice when they become desperate to catch up with the crowd. Originality is awesome. No need to puting on a mask to deceive others. It's a good advice to the upcoming generation.

People who were born in 1990 have matured and know how to live in this world. You also gave a special advice to all young people. Make your life easier by taking action.
