The Cross-over Night And My Thank You Hive || Ladies of hive Contest #113

I really want to take some time out to say a big thank you #hive and to all the wonderful people that cross my path, for a wonderful year spent.

This year seems to end so fast maybe probably because I'm having such a quality and fun time at #hive. Time always seems to run fast when one is having fun you know.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who read my post, those who always engage with my content, and to every single support, I have received this year in so many ways on the hive. I'm truly grateful, optimistic, and looking forward to a better year in 2023.

What do you plan to do on the 31st right at midnight? A question from
Ladies of Hive Contest

Usually, there will be cross-over programs happening around everywhere in the neighborhood, bubbling with excitement and merry-making. This night used to be like a magical night, there will be a lot of things happening like people clubbing, going to church programs, and some having family time at home.

This is how it used to be in my former state in the west but here in the North, I have no idea what the cross-over night will be like.

However; here is what I plan to do;
On the night of the 31st, I will be having a movie night with my family at home. My cousin that lives nearby will be coming over with her two-year-old daughter. And this will very quiet, fun, and cute night.

I always love to have her around as she carries positive and happy vibes everywhere she goes and that is the kind of vibe I need around my home this period.

I will make a small family fest for us, providing some of our family's favorite dishes and drinks, have small talks, and be grateful for all the beautiful memory and achievement of 2022 most especially the birth of our darling son.

Do a lot of catching-ups with my cousin afterward which should be probably around eleven pm then we shall return to our beds.

This will be another highlight of the night, my hubby and I will do a kind of Thanksgiving, look back at the ending year, be thankful for the good stuff it brings away and strategize for the incoming year 2023.

Set a clear path for our financial growth and family development, recommitted ourselves to each one, and say lots of prayers to God for bringing us this far and the great heights he is taking us.

On the 1st of 2023, we will probably wake up late due to our sleeping late the previous night, and make some food preparation, Naija fried rice to be precise as our new year won't be complete without it. Make sure our home is in a full new year celebration mood as we await some friends to come over and be merry with us.
In the evening we have plans of visiting some colleagues who had invited us over to spend the evening with them.
