Like Mother Like Son 🥰

This post was inspired by a post made by @ifarmgirl a few days ago. Titled like mother like daughter on interacting with her I realized how much our patent's looks and personality can be passed down to us. I never had to introduce my father to people, just by looking at us, you will know he is my dad.

I remember a nurse looking at my son during one of his immunization appointments and saying, " is your husband a chubby man "Obviously, she already thought my son did not take after my body status as I'm a slim body type.

I looked back at her and told her that I have a bigger body compared to my husband. This leads her to more confusion.

I knew what she was thinking, how come a baby of three months and two weeks looks so big and weighs 9kg? If both of her parents are so slim.

I looked back at her, smiling, and told her he took after me. I was what the Nigerians will call an Orobo, someone that is chubby.

I remember telling my sister a few days ago, joking with her that my baby's weight is killing me and she laughed 😅 and said finally someone is paying me back for all the stress I put her through when I was little 😂 she told me how my mom will put me on her back and tell her to sit down on one place because I was too big for her to move about.😅

I love chubby babies, I find them adorable, and easy to carry and care for. Couples with the attention they get from people.

I took this a few days ago when we visited a toy shop, it happens this is the only kind he can hold or play with for now. Others are too big for him besides I don't like most of the designs. And he ended up not liking this one either.

I will be going for those with batteries next time as I discovered he likes anything that sings. He even sings along with his throat, whenever I sing for him.

It makes me happy he looks so much like me, he took my face and smiled and almost all my physical appearance. At least that is what he looks like for now, you know how they keep on changing as they grow. The only thing he took after hubby is being a man lol. He can not have the sex and still get the looks and I think that is a fair trade hahaha.

I'm having-too-nice a day as the light situation in my area has been a shitty show for a few days now, so talking about one of the most important and sweetest people in my life this evening is my way of staying positive and keeping a sane mind. Whatever their problems are I hope they get them rectified because this is driving me nuts.

My hive activities depend so much on me having light for at least some hours in a day. I have a goal to crush and it better not try to stand in my way.
