ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT IS KEY TO MAINTAIN PLANET// CLEANING ACTIVITY FOR 22-7-2024

Today I am happy to share about the significance of environmental assessment as key to maintain a good planet. Environment consists of both abiotic and biotic components. It's very important to once in a while assess the environment in order to ascertain the impact for further things to be done.

Environmental assessment can be seen as the situation where the anticipated effects of a project is evaluated or measured. This goes to tell whether the effects are unacceptable so that other measures could be taken to salvage the situation.
Environmental assessment helps to identify the possible effects of a intended activity and how the impacted can be mitigated.

Some of the importance of environmental assessment to the planet includes;

• It helps to identify mitigation measures to eliminate major impacts.
• It screens out environmentally projects that aren't good which could have adverse effects on the planet.
• It engages and helps to inform potentially affected communities or individuals.

The role of environmental assessment in sustaining the planet can't be overemphasized. Sometimes you may not know what to do in the environment but with this strategy one would be able to ascertain the areas that needs intervention easily.

Today, I was able to assess my environment and carryout functions in order to keep the planet cleaned. One thing is to have the knowledge another thing is the application. There was heavy down poured but I was able to step out after the rain subsided in the afternoon.
