Hello everyone! today is a cold day but with a radiant sun, perfect to accompany my husband to fulfill his right and also his duty as a Polish citizen to vote in the parliamentary elections held today October 15. The truth I was very curious about how is the voting process here, I understand that these elections are held every 4 years, the rest I would see with my own eyes there, although I thought it would not be much I could see but in these photos you can see that I accompanied my husband at all times because I was really very curious and also they allowed me to do so.

We arrived at the school, and we looked for the room where they vote. The first thing I saw when I entered there was a big transparent box or ballot box (in my country the ballot boxes are cardboard boxes and there you put a little paper) and next to it I saw two big flags of Poland, the attention was excellent and fast, because immediately a very kind person verified my husband on the list and then they asked me to vote but of course I said no. Then my husband signed and they gave him the ballot box, then my husband signed and they gave him the papers with the list of the parties and candidates (and yes, they were big sheets) then Pawel sat on one of the chairs with a table that are also covered so no one can see your vote, except me hahaha at first I was nervous to be there without doing anything, but as I saw some children accompanying their mother to vote then I also went to accompany my husband.

Finally after my husband finished his election, he went to add these sheets in the ballot box that I mentioned at the beginning and later we returned home where I asked my husband a little more about these elections, and well the summary of the summary that my husband gave me hahahaha is that the most important thing in these elections is who will form a coalition government with other parties. In the meantime I only wish the best for the country because this will be my home for a long time or maybe for all my life because last week I went to my appointment for the temporary residence that ended with a stamp in my passport but I can't do anything with it hahaha, but the woman who attended me or attended us (because my husband also accompanied me at all times to translate for me) was very kind and said that in 3 or 4 months I could get the residence card or karta pobytu (finally) of course first I will receive the visit of a person from migration verifying that I live in this place. So well, I get good wishes for me too.

Hola a todos! hoy es un día frío pero con un sol radiante, perfecto para acompañar a mi esposo a cumplir con su derecho y además su deber como ciudadano polaco a votar en las elecciones parlamentarias celebradas hoy 15 de octubre. La verdad tenía mucha curiosidad sobre como es el proceso de votación aquí, tengo entendido que estas elecciones son celebradas cada 4 años, lo demás lo vería con mis propios ojos allí, aunque pensé que no sería mucho lo que podría ver pero en estas fotos pueden ver que acompañé a mi esposo en todo momento porque estaba realmente muy curiosa y además me lo permitieron.

Llegamos al colegio, y buscamos el salón donde se vota. Lo primero que ví al entrar allí fue una grande caja transparente o urna electoral (en mi país las urnas electorales son cajas de cartón y allí echas un pequeño papel) y al lado de ella ví dos grandes banderas de Polonia, la atención fue excelente y rápida, pues inmediatamente una persona muy amable verificó a mi esposo en la lista y luego me preguntaron a mí para votar pero por supuesto yo dije que no, entonces mi esposo firmó y le entregaron los papeles con la lista de los partidos y candidatos (y sí, eran unas grandes hojas) entonces Pawel se sentó en una de las sillas con mesa que además están tapadas para que nadie pueda ver tu voto, excepto yo jajaja que al principio estaba nerviosa por estar ahí sin hacer nada, pero como ví unos niños acompañando a su madre a votar pues entonces fuí también a acompañar a mi esposo.

Finalmente luego de que mi esposo terminó su elección, fue a agregar estas hojas en la urna que les mencionaba al inicio y más tarde volvimos a casa donde le pregunté a mi esposo un poco más sobre estas elecciones, y bueno el resumen del resumen que me hizo mi esposo jajajaja es que lo más importante en estas elecciones es quien formará una coalición gubernamental con otros partidos. Mientras tanto yo solo deseo lo mejor para el país pues este será mi hogar por mucho tiempo o quizá para toda la vida pues además la semana pasada fuí a mi cita para la residencia temporal que terminó con un sello en mi pasaporte pero con el que no puedo hacer nada jajaja, pero la mujer que me atendió o nos atendió (porque mi esposo también me acompañó en todo momento para traducir para mí) fue muy amable y dijo que en 3 o 4 meses podría obtener la tarjeta de residencia o karta pobytu (finalmente) por supuesto primero voy a recibir la visita de una persona de migración verificando que vivo en este lugar.
