BEER FRIENDS MINI GAME

A nice little game to use the BEER token to have a virtual beer with some friends. Have a visit to the Beer friends website

image.png

Hey Hive Family
today we have again some fun
for the BEER community

This is your invite...

... to add a virtual bottle of BEER into the box together with all the friends of the beer community.

image.png

Whenever the last bottle added, the automated bot will draw the next Queen or King

The actual king

Long live @chaosmagic23

our actual BEERking @chaosmagic23 from the BEERfriends mini game here on the #Hive blockchain

image.png

Do you know this mini game on Hive?

It is really simple but fun.

Think of an empty box / craddle of beer where each friends adds a bottle. Means we have 24 empty slots of each box and this is room for 24 friends to join together with each one adding a beer.

image.png

The actual box

Each box has a unique number and the actual box is BeerBox ID: 5Y2G5-RC477-RJ2KB-NH4CP

At the time of writing this post, we have only 3 friends joining this fun.

image.png

Add your beer

This is just a click and a confirmation within keychain (the secure key tool for hive). You need to have a BEER token from the hive-engine. Get it here at Tribaldex

image.png

You get a unique name for that beer

Each beer you add will come with a funny or strange name. My beer is a

Brown Boar King Extra Cliff Winter Mild

as you can see at the dialogbox, whenever you click on a person / hivian icon inside the box

image.png

The last box was drawn some days ago

With that last full box, we got a new #BEERking and this is @chaosmagic23

image.png

Who are the friends of this last BEERking?

Even therefore we have a nice and simple function.

Just click in the BEERking and this dialog box will open

image.png

Click on @manniman

now a dialog with the style of beer opens

image.png

and you see that he got a

Blonde Sheep Farmer Double Mountain Honey Mild

Prost

For all the blockchain experts

you may click as well at the lick to the Hive-engine block explorer to see the stats and data at the blockchain. This is f.e. this https://he.dtools.dev/tx/b0fa8e34faa1744bedf82b320789517a2cd42837 link for the transfer from @manniman

image.png

Now feel free to join the actual box

--> https://friends.beersaturday.com/hive <--

Have a BEER with your friends and find the BeerKing in your Party of 24 friends
Every of your friends get his face (hive account picture) on one bottle cap by joining with one BEER token.

Once you have your 24 friends (a box of beer) full there will be a draw for the beerking. He will be the winner of 80% of the paid beer. The rest will go to the pot and the devs.

Have a great day everybody
love to get your feedback
and some cool ideas for this minigame

Please show us your beer

at the comments or do a post about the game for a vote from me and the beer community and make sure you add the TAG #beerfriends

Trying to join the box for this week. Clicking on the Place 1 Beer in the box button gives me an error. No chance to sign using Keychain.

Active, Posting, Memo keys are in my keychain and keychainify is active.

Anybody else having trouble?

Can you explain how many beer need to be staked for the number of times per day someone can call the beerbot? I used to be able to call 10 times before but now it seems less. Has this been changed?

24 BEER (a box) need to be staked to call the @beerlover once a day. Two box to call him twice and so on.

A good read

Have a look here https://peakd.com/hive-187719/@beerlover/free-beer-got-some-little-updates-to-keep-the-fun and enjoy

Thanks for the information. That link should be on all the bot's replies so that people who bought the token know what has happened to it. Changing the behavior of a token is bad enough but doing so without warning those who paid to buy it is not right.

Please read bofore write.

The @beerlover post was there before the changes and most of the people read the @beerlover posts as this is - since the creation of the token - the source of information for the community.

We try to be as transparent as possible,

Thanks for the good idea to add this link to the @beerlover comments and therefore a !BEER from me.

BTW: As BEER was one of the first community token, it was "normal" that people used the token that way. Now, as we have more token, people think many is better than one.

Thanks for the beer!

I understand that you posted the change, but tell the truth, do you check the user agreement on your credit card on a daily basis after you begin to use the card? Most people likely don't even read it the first time, when they first receive the card. So why do you expect purchasers of the beer token to go back and regularly check to see if you changed the rules of a cryptocurrency token that is supposed to be immutable and never change?

The way I see it, there is a contract made between a buyer and a seller. To change the rules after the sale is unethical. That would be like buying a car and later having the car dealership come and take your tires because now they are not considered part of the car.

Besides, don't you want people using your tokens? Putting restrictions on their use simply limits the number of times people will use it. The less it is used, the sooner people forget it exists and less new users will come to discover it by seeing it being given out. People are much like sheep and follow the crowd. If they see beer being handed out everywhere, they want to be part of it. If they no longer see beer anywhere, they soon forget about it and your token dies.

Perhaps I'm missing some key information, but that's my understanding of it.
