Tricycle Project
I would like to share to all the community about the idea that I have. The idea came in mind when I wrote this article. Went inside my brain then lost it somewhere 😆. It came to fruition when I was back in Pampanga my hometown July 4 to be exact.
I started investing on lines of trikes and buying my own tricycle June 22, 2017. In my country most tricycles are owned by the operator then they rent it out to other drivers for a fee. 7 years ago the fee was Php 50 ($1) a day. Maintenance cost is paid by the operator flat tire, oil change, engine breakdown etc. The motorbike with sidecar or a bucket is delivered to the operators house everyday. The concept for me is not a win win situation for both parties too much of a hustle on either side. I reverse the program! Of course I need to tell the TODA or Tricycles Operators and Driver's association and the government behind this new system.
The cost for each line 7 years ago was $700 to $1000, a new tricycle will cost me at the same price. $2000 for a brand new trike and line. In todays inflation it will cost me around $4,600 all in. The new implemented system is the driver can bring back the trike in his house like he owns it (technically yes but on paper no unless the motorbike is fully paid). For the maintenance he/she will shoulder it because technically he owns it already. The payment method I put in place is $2 for the motorbike and $1 for the rental fee for the line. If you buy a new motorbike without a sidecar in my country let's say a brand new bike is around $1,400, motor trade dealer will give you 3 years to pay for it and it will cost you double the amount $2,600 roughly. This is a great burden to my fellow drivers. For me the way I can help is charge them at additional $200 to $400 depends on the motorbike that I will buy.

Brand new motor bike from me $1,400
Sidecar $600
Additional $200
Total = $2,200
As you can see they will save $1,000, that money can be use for their family instead of giving it to the dealers. For 7 years I only increased once from $1 to $2 after 4 years in the business on the rental fee of the line. I was planning on increasing the rental fee of the line from $2 to $3 next year (2025).
I'm 3 months in writing articles on Hive Blockchain. So the idea is instead of increasing next year I will onboard my drivers into Hive blogging. They need to be active in here writing articles etc. An article was written by @dalz here spark my memory and the vision I have in my mind. And I did ask questions about the idea I have.
The idea of course is a no brainer for my drivers. It's the only way I know how they can benefit from Hive. I help them they help me and we contribute to the Hive blockchain. The hard part is how do you explain to them about the crypto? How do you explain to them about web writer, blogging, incentivize writing etc.? I made a move already when I told them about blogging the first thing went to their mind is dancing on a video (at least for this one driver). He keeps repeating the same sentence over and over, you want me to dance? you want me to dance? 🤣. I totally understand him because I can see it everyday if I touch grass outside you will see random kids dancing (not against it), some dude watching someone dancing (not against it). It's the effect of advertising in the crypto world we call it MEME.
I need your opinion help or any kind of suggestions how to do this in a simple way and it would be easy for me and for my fellow drivers. I know the task at hand is full of ups and downs and I'm ready for it! We have 5 months before the increase (2025). Change is difficult for everyone and I know that base on my experience but I have time, patience, understanding and compassion towards others just to help them as the best I can.

Before in Hive PH, we used to have onboarding webinars but it stopped because some onboarders are now doing it face to face.
If you want to onboard them, you can ask help from onboarders in Hive PH.
Though I think it will be better if onboarding is done face to face.
Let's see.. hmmm I'm not sure if @tpkidkai or @intoy.bugoy are near your place but they are great onboarders. They can explain Hive very well.

Add HIVE stickers to the mix. Write more about what you are trying to do on HIVE with photos and try to get more votes with that. If you manage to get the attention of some Whales, your operations will be easier. What @collinz and @mcsamm have been doing is a good example. If all things become a success, you will be able to ask for funding from DHF. There have been many great projects that were not funded by DHF. Do not rely on it.

The content options are plentiful, maintenance on the bike, insects on the flowers near the stop, customers with consent, etc, the more the drivers power up of what the community gives them the faster their account will grow.
With time it begins to feed itself.
Just be very clear that content must be new, every time, reposting or copy/pasting someone else will only lead to problems.

A bit complex if you explain everything in one go (info overload). Just give them some motivation (e.g. improve writing skills, monetary rewards, etc). Choose some good examples of simple posts which got high rewards. Once they see the value of it, they themselves will start asking.
