Rules are for the citizens only, not for the government? - Tuesday, July 23, 2024

This is just local news in my country. I don't think that other countries know about this. I share it for learning purposes. Maybe, there are some people out there doing the same. Most of the time they are already blinded by power.

In my country, many things are already common tho it's illegal such as illegal levies, playing or hosting casinos, and corruption. It's not common for something like a drug in my country smh or it's just not in the news 🀣. As a person, most people are afraid of someone who has power. It's like we're afraid of our boss in a company. Many weird news come and the weirdest is today. It's about a father who sends his child to a public school. His father did not accept illegal levies at the school so he reported it to the police for legal processing. Somehow, the village chief is coming to his rented house as a village chief and the head of a community organization. In a video that goes wild in media and news, the village chief politely asks why he doesn't tell the village chief first and has a discussion. The father says we're in a lawful country. We must abide by and tell if there's something illegal happening in this country, especially for a public school. Short story, The Village chief doesn't like how this father acts (makes a legal report for illegal levies), wants to protect the school from the report, and forces him to go out of HIS village due to "making a mess or trouble". Yeah, he states that the village is HIS. In my viewpoint, The village chief is showing his position of power while the father isn't afraid of those people. I don't know where the bravery comes from... Maybe, it's because he can punch them easily if they want to give a punch to him πŸ˜‚. Tho, if the report is wrong, there's nothing to worry about πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. The school's management just needs to accept the audit.

There were also news about members of The Corruption Eradication Commission of Indonesia getting caught playing online casino websites and a member of The Audit Board of Indonesia getting caught in corruption. Those two are still under investigation to prove whether they are real or not. I don't know what they will do about something like this because the defendants and the reporter are government members. I think a judge is also someone with power and sometimes there are bad judges too πŸ€”. How's your country? Sometimes there will be some news like this right? 🀣 As humans of course we have a dark side, there won't be war on Earth if everyone is kind to each other.

The point of all the information on illegal activities is they mostly come from someone who has more power than others, especially in governments that hold a big power. Whether it becomes news or not, we never know the real thing behind the desk. Even there is a joke about corruptors' punishment being lighter than a chicken stealer. It's just a joke so far I never look up if it's real or not 🀣. What I know is we often see what happens after people get out of jail, they are poor and can't live like usual due to their past activity. It's a cruel state and become a learning material for everyone not to do illegal actions. Somehow, It's not happening to someone who has power and goes to jail. They live like usual and sometimes they are just having fun with their life after going out of jail.

I'm not saying the government or someone who has power is always blind to the power. There's a man that I always remember for his title. For someone who doesn't know him, maybe you can admire him. His name is Jose Mujica and also known as "The poorest President." He's not president anymore but I like his story because he's living like a normal person without any poverty. I remember this quote when I was still in school, "If you want to become a good cop, you must think like a thief." It means, if you want to do a good thing, you must know what is a bad thing first to prevent them and do the opposite. For someone who wants to rule citizens from all classes, they should start trying to live from the lower class. It's better if they live together in the same class.

Now, What can we do? Of course, power is still something that we need to seek. It's not like we don't need power. The most important thing is to learn from others. If we hold the power, then we need to do the right thing. We mustn't blinded by the power. Rules are still there. It states in a law that we must abide by as a citizen or someone in government. If the rules are not balanced to one point or class, the country will fall. Be safe and I hope everyone achieves freedom without taking the freedom of someone πŸ‘‹. Have a nice day~
