Before we start, I want to tell you that I am very excited about this interesting words project, because it introduces us to a large number of words, of which we surely were not very clear about the meaning, and we can learn through this knowledge the subtle difference that there is between one word and another, which despite seeming synonymous are not. Because they have a subtlety that makes an important change, as has happened with the words calm, dream, chimera, etc. So I hope you are enjoying these contents as much as I do.
And today we have the word inaccessible which comes from the late Latin inaccessibilis and the dictionary of the Spanish language qualifies it as an adjective of inaccessible. Actually this word means that it is something that cannot be easily achieved or that has many obstacles or limitations.
This can be something that is physical, such as a barrier that prevents you from reaching a place, it can be a very steep mountain like the one I put at the top of this post, or it can be something more abstract, such as the concept of something that needs to be explained or an idea.

In relation to this word, I want to emphasize that worldwide there are many people and many populations that struggle daily to have access to water.
Without going very far, right here where I live in Venezuela, we have a serious problem in relation to this, because the turbines and the equipment that are in charge of supplying the water are very deteriorated, and out of 9 or 10 turbines that our main dam has Currently, only one is working, or in the best of cases, two, which means that we have serious restrictions on the service, and we have to go through severe shortages.
Having access to water is a fundamental right, it is something basic that anyone should have, but currently in the world there are many people who do not have access to it, due to extreme conditions of poverty, because there is no necessary infrastructure to be able to build the wells or the machines needed to build a dam.
There are also factors such as pollution and climate change, which means that, for example, in remote parts of the world, these communities have desert soils, due to the great temperature that climate change produces and this obviously makes it a desert soil and that there is no water. Making life very difficult for these people, for example in Africa, in those lost communities, having access to the vital liquid becomes a privilege and in the case of Nigeria as well.
You can see in other parts of the world the effects of not having access to water, of inaccessible water, this results in many children being malnourished, weak, starving. And the population in general suffers from malnutrition, they have a large number of diseases, such as scabies, dermatitis and obviously this reduces the reasoning and study condition of these people, because they do not have access to water, they have this number of additional problems that are pretty serious. Currently, these people receive help from NGOs that are in charge of doing everything possible to give them humanitarian aid, bring them technology, people like Bill Gates have invested in technologies that purify water, so that they can have access to it, or that they can recycle the contaminated water in those places to make it drinkable and usable.
Many water filters have been created that help the population a lot, but, nevertheless, they do not receive all the necessary help. And governments and people who have power need to establish public policies that are more open and allow these people to have access to water, because it is necessary, it is a vital human right for them and to be able to develop their communities. Once these people have access to water, they will be able to have better personal hygiene, illnesses will decrease, they will be able to study and think, they will be rational because they will not be dehydrated due to lack of of water. It is important that governments look for mechanisms to help their inhabitants and also that awareness is awakened, worldwide, in each individual, in each citizen, to support these people and that water becomes something accessible that improves its quality of life.

Antes de empezar, quiero decirles que estoy muy entusiasmado con este proyecto de palabras interesantes, porque nos da a conocer una gran cantidad de palabras, de la cual seguramente no teníamos muy claro el significado, y podemos ir aprendiendo mediante estos conocimientos la diferencia sutil que hay entre una palabra y otra, que a pesar de parecer sinónimos no lo son. Porque tienen una sutileza que hace un cambio importante, como ha pasado con las palabras sosegado, ensueño, quimera, etc. Entonces espero que estén disfrutando tanto de estos contenidos como yo lo hago.
Y el día de hoy tenemos la palabra inaccesible que proviene del latín tardío inaccesibilis y el diccionario de la lengua española lo califica como un adjetivo de no accesible. En realidad esta palabra significa que es algo que no se puede alcanzar fácilmente o que tiene muchos obstáculos o limitaciones.
Esto puede ser algo que sea físico, como puede ser una barrera que te impide llegar a un lugar, puede ser una montaña muy empinada como la que yo coloco en la cabecera de esta publicación, o puede tratarse de algo más abstracto, como puede ser el concepto de algo que se necesita explicar o una idea.

Por ejemplo, explicarle el concepto de la cadena de bloques a una persona que no sabe nada de tecnología, es algo que para ella es inaccesible. Este es más o menos el concepto que se maneja de esta palabra.
Con relación a esta palabra quiero resaltar que a nivel mundial hay muchas personas y muchas poblaciones que luchan diariamente por tener acceso al agua.
Sin llegar muy lejos, aquí mismo donde yo vivo en Venezuela, tenemos un grave problema en relación con esto, porque las turbinas y los equipos que se encargan de suministrar el agua están muy deteriorados, y de 9 o 10 turbinas que tiene nuestra principal represa, actualmente solamente una está funcionando, o en el mejor de los casos, dos, lo que hace que tengamos graves restricciones en el servicio, y tengamos que pasar severas carencias.
El tener acceso al agua es un derecho de primera necesidad, es algo básico que debe tener cualquier persona, pero actualmente en el mundo hay mucha gente que no tiene acceso a ella, debido a condiciones extremas de pobreza, a que no hay la infraestructura necesaria para poder construir los pozos o las máquinas necesarias para poder poner una represa.
Hay factores también como la contaminación y el cambio climático, que hace que por ejemplo en lugares lejanos del mundo esas comunidades tengan suelos desérticos, por la gran temperatura que produce el cambio de clima y esto evidentemente hace que sea un suelo desértico y que no haya agua. Haciendo la vida muy difícil para estas personas, por ejemplo en África, en esas comunidades perdidas, tener acceso al vital líquido se transforma en un privilegio y en el caso de Nigeria también.
Se puede ver en otros lugares del mundo los efectos de no tener acceso al agua, de que el agua sea inaccesible, esto redunda en que muchos niños estén desnutridos, enclenques, famélicos. Y la población en general sufre de desnutrición, tienen una gran cantidad de enfermedades, como sarna, dermatitis y evidentemente esto merma la condición de razonar y de estudiar de estas personas, porque no tienen acceso al agua, tienen esta cantidad de problemas adicionales que son bastante graves. Actualmente, estas personas reciben ayudas de ONG que se encargan de hacer lo posible por darles ayuda humanitaria, llevarles tecnología, personas como Bill Gates han invertido en tecnologías que purifican el agua, de manera que puedan tener acceso a ella, o que puedan reciclar el agua contaminada que hay en esos lugares para hacerla bebible, y utilizable.
Se han creado muchos filtros de agua que ayudan mucho a la población, pero, sin embargo, no reciben toda la ayuda necesaria. Y los gobiernos y las personas que tienen el poder, necesitan establecer políticas públicas que sean más abiertas y permitan que estas personas tengan acceso al agua, porque es necesario, es un derecho humano vital para ellos y para poder desarrollar sus comunidades. Una vez que estas personas logren su acceso al agua van a poder tener una mejor higiene personal, se van a disminuir las enfermedades, van a poder estudiar y pensar, van a ser racionales porque no van a estar en condición de deshidratación debido a la falta de agua. Es importante que los gobiernos busquen los mecanismos para ayudar a sus habitantes y también que se despierte conciencia, a nivel mundial, en cada individuo, en cada ciudadano, para apoyar a estas personas y que el agua se transforme en algo accesible que mejore su calidad de vida.
