Hobby Update (DE/EN)
Hallo Allerseits!
Da ich nun endlich wieder einmal ein wenig Zeit am Maltisch verbracht habe, gibt es hier erneut ein Update. Zuletzt hatte ich den Primaris Lieutenant aus der Conquest-Heftreihe ebenfalls als Variante für die Blood Angels angefangen, dieser wurde nun ein gutes Stück weiter gebracht. Die ersten Schritte und die benutzten Farben könnt ihr hier in meinem letzten Hobby Update finden. Weit war ich zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nicht gekommen, der Gute sah zuletzt noch recht flach aus.

Since I've finally spent some time at the drawing table again, here's another update. Most recently I had started the Primaris Lieutenant from the Conquest series also as a variant for the Blood Angels, this has now been taken quite a bit further. You can find the first steps and the colors used here in my last hobby update. I hadn't gotten far at that point, the good guy looked pretty flat at the end.
Die gleichen Grundfarben kamen bei den anderen Teilen zur Anwendung. Die Kanten der roten Rüstung wurden mit Fire Dragon Bright akzentuiert und anschließend mit Kislev Flesh an den äußersten Kanten betont. Alle goldenen Teile wurden nach dem Tuschen noch einmal mit Gehenna's Gold bepinselt, die letzten Akzente wurden dann mit Runefang Steel aufgetragen. Ich habe mich für einen goldfarbenen Helm entschieden. Alle grünen Elemente wie Siegel, Augen und Plasmaspule wurden nach einer Grundschicht aus Caliban Green mit Warpstone Glow und Moot Green akzentuiert. Pergamente und die Schwertscheide bekamen Zandri Dust aufgetragen mit einigen Akzenten in Screaming Skull. Für das Base wollte ich diesmal etwas anderes probieren. Ich hatte mir einen Blister Mixed Green 6mm Tufts von Gamers Grass geholt, diese passten am ehesten zu steiniger Tundra. Dementsprechend bekam das Base nach der Gestaltung diesmal eine Grundierung aus Zandri Dust. Nach dem Tuschen mit Agrax Earthshade wurde diesmal mit Screaming Skull trockengebürstet und nach ein paar der selbstklebenden Grasbüschel war das Base auch schon fertig.
The same basic colors were used for the other parts. The edges of the red armor were accented with Fire Dragon Bright and then accented with Kislev Flesh on the extreme edges. All the gold parts were brushed again with Gehenna's Gold after the inking, and the last accents were then applied with Runefang Steel. I chose a gold colored helmet. All green elements such as the sigil, eyes and plasma coil were accented with Warpstone Glow and Moot Green after a basecoat of Caliban Green. Parchments and the scabbard got Zandri Dust applied with some accents in Screaming Skull. For the base I wanted to try something different this time. I got myself a Blister Mixed Green 6mm tufts from Gamers Grass, these went best with rocky tundra. Accordingly, the base got a primer of Zandri Dust after the design. After washing with Agrax Earthshade, this time it was dry brushed with Screaming Skull and after a few self-adhesive tufts of grass, the base was already done.
Die große helle Fläche des Schildes wurde mit Corax White grundiert und mit Agrax Earthshade getuscht. Auf der Rückseite wurde komplett mit Abaddon Black grundiert, dann folgten Leadbelcher für die Metallteile und die die drei oben genannten Grüntöne für die Energieelemente. Alle anderen Farben wurden auch vorher schon genutzt.
The large light area of the shield was primed with Corax White and washed with Agrax Earthshade. The back was completely primed with Abaddon Black, followed by Leadbelcher for the metal parts and the three shades of green mentioned above for the energy elements. All other colors have also been used before.
Nach dem Aufkleben auf den Schildarm wurden noch die Nieten mit Nuln Oil getuscht und es kamen mit Hilfe von Corax White und Abaddon Black ein paar Abnutzungsspuren auf den Schild. Nun fehlt nur noch der kleine Schild mit der Insignie für die Brustplatte.
After sticking it on the shield arm, the rivets were washed with Nuln Oil and some signs of wear and tear came onto the shield with the help of Corax White and Abaddon Black. Now only the small shield with the insignia for the chest plate is missing.
Wenn ich die Einzelteile einer Figur erst fertig bemale und dann zusammenklebe, muss ich immer sehr vorsichtig sein, um nichts abzubrechen. Die Klebestellen für die Zahnstocher und getrocknete Farbe lassen die Teile meistens eher schwer zusammenschieben, bis keine Lücke mehr da ist. Meist muss man mit einer Feile und dem Bastelmesser nachhelfen, um den einen oder anderen Stift weit genug in das entsprechende Loch stecken zu können. Bei dem nächsten Lieutenant für die Dark Angels wollte ich mir etwas Stress ersparen und klebte die teilgrundierten Stücke dann schon einmal im voraus zusammen.
When I finish painting the individual parts of a figure and then glue them together, I always have to be very careful not to break anything. The adhesive spots for the toothpicks and dried paint usually make it difficult to push the parts together until there are no more gaps. Usually you have to help with a file and a craft knife in order to be able to insert one or the other pin far enough into the corresponding hole. With the next Lieutenant for the Dark Angels I wanted to save myself some stress and glued the partially primed pieces together in advance.
Zuguterletzt griff ich mir noch das Bike und verpasste diesem ein paar Akzente an den blauen Teilen und dem Metall.
Finally I grabbed the bike and gave it a few accents on the blue parts and the metal.
Ich hoffe mal, dass ich auch nach meinem Urlaub dran bleiben kann und es bald etwas mehr Sonne gibt, die meine Batterie dann öfter wieder auflädt! Ich wünsche Allen noch frohe Ostern!
