Hello dear Splinterlands and Hive community!

Instead of my usual Brawl Report, I've been trying some High-Elo tactics on my Silver battles, and to not make my posts too long I'll be dividing it into 2 Parts:

The first is about Uriel The Purifier and the second would be about Zyriel. Without further ado, let's put the spotlights on our first Monster:

Uriel The Purifier

This is a Legendary Life Monster that was Airdropped to Chaos Legion Packs buyers. At first, players didn't know how to put into use his Recharge Ability but later it became one of the best tanks on the Life Teams, But how ?

Lore:

Uriel was amongst the many Pelacor that fled Solaki and its military regime when he was young. He found himself in Khymeria, like so many of his brothers and sisters, but even though they practised with life magic it just didn’t feel quite pure enough for him and so he travelled to different Worlds, seeking somewhere he could find that elusive clarity of virtue.

I'll be talking about the level 2 since it's commonly used on both Silver & Gold league:

Abilities	Commentary
	The combination of flying (+25% Evasion) + 3 Speed is insanely underrated and you can't image how many misses it'll lead! Moreover, flying makes Uriel a perfect tank to play in Earthquake Ruleset
	Probably one of the most hated abilities, but with Uriel and 3 Melee Damage, it could launch a heavy 9 Melee Damage every other Round Being a sturdy tank, it can stay alive to at least launch a couple of heavy attacks!
	As if this monster wasn't tanky enough, Heal will allow it to restore 3-4 Health per turn, talk about the life team that has tons of Tank Heal and Repair Monsters

A little peak at the higher levels:

There are a lot of incentives to level up Uriel from level 2 to level 3:

• +1 Melee for a total of 4 Melee ➡️ 12 Rechage Attack
• 12 Health ➡️ Heals for +4 Health a turn!
• you only need 3 more BCX for a level up

However, from level 3 to level 4:

• Only an additional ability: Redemption that in NOT useful for Uriel utility since you want it to stay alive as long as possible
• Moreover, it would cost almost the double amount of BCX to level up

Into The Battle

We'll be featuring a mid-high mana battle 46 Mana Cap with Life, Earth, Death Available and having Fury + Fog of War as rulesets; which means all attacks will be focused on the Frontlines thus leading to the decision of playing Uriel + *support monsters:

• Tank Heal by *Venari Crystalsmith
• Ressurect by Angel of Light
• Taunt by Iziar
• (should've bring a repair monster too)

Round 1

• It seems it was a mistake bringing a taunt monster in Fury Ruleset but I take it as a way to control to upcoming attacks and keep my Uriel as alive as possible. Moreover Iziar got the Void ability to offset some of the Magic Damage & Return Fire from Ilthain!
• My opponent did the same but his taunt didn't last longer than 3 attacks from my team

Round 2

Boom! Here comes the 1st RECHARGE attack of 9 Melee Damage!

My Iziar got eliminated as well as Goblin Chariot!

Round 3

This is a tough situation: We are facing 3 Healers:

• Both Venari + Pelacor (weapon training) attacks (3 Ranged) get Healed by Cornealus
• Zyriel 3 Ranged attack get healed by Wood Nymph
• Angel of light (weapon training) attack get healed by Goblin Psychic
• ➡️ Enemy heals for +9 Health per turn

Round 4

We need to attack Fast enough AND Hard enough to get through Cornealus
This is where URIEL RECHARGE seals the Deal!

The rest of the battle is quickly wrapped up and the VICTORY IS MINE
