RISINGSTAR RAVE ADDITION SUGGESTIONS

Hello Buskers,

I'd like to start this posts and say this is not a fully planned lists of suggestions and I am just adding/modifying thoughts I have as I write this post. And I would like this to be a suggestions area not only in the posts but also in the comments if you want to add or modify. Thanks.

Rave Additional gameplay mechanics suggestions

There's both pros and cons for additional mechanics but I think it would give the simulation more of a real life scenario appeal if any of these can be added.

Suggestion #1

To diversify the pooling of players each Rave, there could be a situation where the "Rave organizers" for each color to not open a Rave on certain conditions. So Rave colors will have a maximum of 4 colors, and I think a minimum of 3 colors is ideal. I am imagining that having only 2 colors would just lead to a lot of complains from players since the losing side would have the feeling of being bullied.

Conditions that could lead for Rave color organizers to not have Rave :

A. Because of the number of fans that attended the previous Rave was too much more than anticipated, theres :

  • a lot of equipments broken and unusable for now

  • the place was so thrashed that it needed time for further cleaning before it can be used again. Or the owner of the place was pissed because of the damage to the property that he dont want to let the organizers used that place again

B. There's an "off limits notice" because the place is under the watch list of the police

C. There's been a rumor circulating about a terrorists threat that made the organizers postpone the Rave

D. The place is under quarantine because of a disease outbreak

E. There's other events scheduled in the place, or an on going event on it

F. Because the police raid the event too often before its conclusion, the organizers dont have enough funds to organize a new Rave event and only will have enough after this current session

G. Unexpected lack of entertainment, DJ cancelling its scheduled performance. Or equipment rentals did not deliver the necessary items for a successful Rave



Suggestion #2

In conjunction of the "Police Raid" and "Hoax Call" card having certain conditions that could lead them to be Sick or in Holiday. I think its only natural that fans could get sick or be in holiday too. Fans should also be affected by it to a certain extent. They could :

A. Be sick after attending a previous Rave too many people on it having a contagious disease.

B. Be sick because there's some form of sabotage inside the event like someone handing out spoiled food and drinks

C. Not attending the Rave just because it is on a weekday

D. Somehow dont like the event place for the next Rave so they are skipping it



Suggestion #3

With the previously mentioned idea of sabotaging a Rave, there could be a card that will not affect the current Rave fans but will affect their capability to attend the next Rave e.g. Having a bad case of diarrhea from someone handing out free food or drinks.

Edit : It doesnt have to be a card, it could be FA cards used against an opponent rave as someone to sabotage by paying either Starbits or StarPro. And the Saboteur would have a higher chance to be absent next Rave because it might get caught or something like that.



Suggestion #4

This may be harder to implement since we have a wide variety of players, but there could be holidays within the game where a Rave Fan card will only have a range of being counted as a Fan.

Example :

Because its Christmas day and it is a heavily celebrated holiday, each fan card only have 10% to 30% of its total attending the current Rave.

*I like the addition of RNG mixed to any gameplay



This is all I could think of now and I know this might be hard to implement but this could be a great addition. Im sure this are not the best of ideas but this is all I could think of. If you want to add, change or maybe modify anything mentioned above, you can do so in the comments. And I hope any if not all of this suggestions are considered by the devs.

Some interesting ideas. We did think about having events that affect FA cards but wasn't sure it really added anything and would maybe even be a negative experience?

I think with enough participants and depth of gameplay, it will have some strategic fun to play. Like if theres a borderline amount of fans that you can put in the rave before it will have a chance to be absent/sick the next rave, and some of your buddies cant put majority of fans this current rave because its sick, they could just put a minimal amount and reserve their might the next rave. A little RNG can change a lot.
