Saturday Savers 2023 Progress Report Week 33

I'm still not sure how Saturday manages to come around so quickly ! It feels like only yesterday that I wrote last week's #SaturdaySavers post, and here's the next one already....

This will be a briefer post than usual, I'm doing it while I take a quick break from trying to work out why my motorcycle carburettors are leaking petrol everywhere when I turn the fuel tap on !

Overview of the Week

This week has been, to put it mildly, a mad rollercoaster.

On the downside, crypto prices have been manipulated into another crash and my overall portfolio value has gone down significantly.

On the upside, I had to buy some LEO to be able to get to the 150 target for LPUD, and the price drop meant that I picked them up at a good price. Also, I've managed to continue to post every day. I'm just starting to wonder if I can get my first Hivebuzz monthly author badge, but not going to stress myself over it, because I know how mad real life can be !

It's noticeable that the number of upvotes on posts seems to drop significantly to match drops in the price of HIVE. I hope it's not just the quality of my posts !

To me, it suggests that far too many Hivers are thinking of the crypto first and the use case second, or perhaps are too influenced by the current FUD. Yes, crypto earnings are nice and can be important, but if we are patient the price will almost certainly come back up, and in the meantime there's a real benefit to just carry on using Hive as a social platform (plus all the other things Hive can do !)
