The event seemed rather exciting overall. Except the heat part. I am sure you all had fun.
I suggest you find a way to prepare for the heat before attending next year, maybe a handy rechargeable fan would do the trick. That would make enjoying the event even better.

They were handing out little fans, but it didn't help much. Thankfully it was outdoors, inside it would have been just oppressive!
