RE: 100% Power That Pollutes or 50% That Doesn't?

This is so difficult to discuss from this starting place.

Wind power, those great big windmill blades and post RARELY pay for themselves. They cost more in energy then they will produce. And even more cost to take them down.

Solar photovoltaic is barely above paying for itself. It is good, only in sunny areas, with low storm activity and NO hail. Else, it is just an expensive lesson waiting to happen.

However, we could do real solar, (not photovoltaic) and power the whole world.
We can build water height storage for energy storing.
We can build hot salt storage for energy storing.

We can build geothermal electric generation anywhere we can drill about 3 miles down. (similar to an oil well) Continuous green power.

We could build ocean wave energy. Build Ferris wheel sized paddle wheel, near the coast, and we have continuous energy from waves. Build a Ferris Wheel next to it, if you are really worried about ocean scenery.
