It looks like the Goldbacks would cost me $5800 an ounce which is kind of annoying.
But they are pretty cool so I was thinking about buying the smaller denominations as a gift. Although trying to justify a flat x2.5 cost even for higher denominations where the press and print costs the same as lower denominations seems like an exploitative business model.
Which site did you look? I rarely have seen them for 2.5 x?
Defythegrid often has the best price for em, which is around a 2x. I know, still a lot but they are easy to resell and some businesses even have special discounts when you pay in GB !
it was just the first one I checked on a google search
Alpine Gold exchange
clearly you don't buy these things just for the gold you buy them because they are cool and people will way the same premium when you go to sell them (unless they get damaged)
are these things like laminated or anything?
when you pick a bigger note up is it obvious to the touch that it's thicker?
