RE: πŸ“š Children of Dune: When a Legacy Becomes a Burden πŸœοΈπŸ›

I think this is the first review / insight into Dune I've read since I finished the first book. I have to be honest, I really, really did not like it. It's more his writing style that bugged me more than the content. I hate how he 'head jumps' mid scene. Having multiple internal dialogues going simultaneously is very jarring.. which is just one problem I had.

I've been told they get better... Because of this I've been putting off reading Dune and it's sequel books for the longest time.

But from how you describe Children of Dune I feel like I'm selling myself short of a great story.

Maybe I will give it another look.

Thanks again for writing this.

Do you read other Sci fi novels?

It gets a lot better in the second book.

I've read the Ender series, have you?
