Re. question of this week my favorite way to travel is by metro, whenever I can. Rome doesn't have a very extensive subway systemb unfortunately and it is usually overcrowded, but when possible, whether for short or long trips, I use it.
I avoid traffic, it's more sustainable than the bus, and I enjoy sitting and being gently rocked by the motion of the train.
Plus, I live near one of the terminal stations, so I always find a seat, and there's signal even underground: I put on my headphones, listen to music on YouTube, sit down, and read a good book.
And for half an hour, I forget the world and suddenly I'm on the other side of the city.
Hope you feel better soon, I am still at home with herpes virus.

The Metro there is really nice, I can't blame you for preferring it. The traffic in Rome is horrible!
