Have you tried adjusting your step length? When I first used an app (fitbit, for my insurance that gives me bonuses when I walk a lot), my step length was at 85cm. Which is a lot, even for someone my height. So I adjusted it to what it really was, and got closer to the step counter :-) But since I have a Garmin, that is obsolete. Other measuring techi´nique
