My Actifit Report Card: September 25 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday was yet another day with very typical activities. The weather was grey but it didn't rain, so we could spend some time outside with Kaia and Le Chat.

We managed to start our daily walk a little earlier than usual and quickly went to the forest.

She's a bit blurry but Kaia on the left side just chased two squirrels, but they climbed up that big tree. She was pissed!

That got her tired too.

Of course, when she saw deer in that big open area, she forgot she was tired.

Which led to more resting breaks.

When we got out of the forest just to pick up a Cubiverse vault, that's pretty much the most sun we saw all day. Just too cloudy.

Going back to the forest, something very weird happened to Kaia. It's like she fainted, completely lost her balance, and almost fell. It only lasted a couple seconds but that was quite scary actually. Really no idea what happened. We still had ways to go before home, so I was worried. But after she chased another deer, and led the way out of the forest, I was kind of relieved. I still need to mention this weird thing to the vet at our next appointment.

Even if we started our walk a bit early, it was already getting dark when we got home. But like I said in my previous report, I just couldn't skip my run again. So I found my headlamp and started my run. The sunset colors were great when I started but less than ten minutes in the run, it was indeed completely dark. I was glad I had my headlamp but I still kept it relatively short with only about 4 miles. I really have to step it up this week end, but rain is in the forecast, so we'll see.
