RE: One From Storage and Time to Cull the Doubt

Wow, that’s crazy.
Though I understand completely. A childhood friend that I am still in touch with on a regular basis, has never showed interest in my art or writing. No discussions—It’s always his story. David Graeber wrote about power, big and small. Those who care provide, and live life on the lower rungs of any modern society expound a lot of energy trying to “figure out” those in power. But not the other way around. The CEO doesn’t give a crap about the janitor. Applied to relationships, this totally makes sense. I’ve been a care provider all of my adult life, and I know first hand how much weight I put on my shoulders for others who don’t seem to really care at all whether I’m relieved or not.
I think artists are always trying to figure others out. They’re on the opposite end of the psychosis spectrum. Super sensitive beings. Prone to debilitating empathy, even if they’re selfish and stubborn themselves. It’s a contradiction, I know.
I will think more on this in the coming days. Thanks for your feedback!

I 100% relate to that.

Some of my family members are like that too. They are more 'impressed by measurable results, grades, diplomas and that kind of stuff and are stuck in their own daily drama.

Love your comments! They are almost as good as your posts.
