My Favorite Mountain Trip of Last Year 2024

I wanted to share about my favorite mountain trip the end of 2024.
I visited and went to the mountain pagoda in december of last year 2024.

It is a nice mountain trip.It is so famous pagoda trip of my country-Myanmar.Most of the pepole go and visit there every year.It is a nice place to travel for all.Many tourists were going to there and liked so much this mountain trip.This mountain pagoda place has in the lonely planet guide book for tourists.
The mountain high is about 3600 ft above sea level.

The name of mountain pagoda is Kyaik Hti Yoe(OR) Golden Rock pagoda.

It is located at the Kyaik Hto city at Mon state of Myanmar country.
It is about 200 Kilometres far from Yangon.Yangon is the capital city of Myanmar before.Now Yangon is the second capital city of Myanmar by changing of the government.

Before 25 years ago..there were only one way to walk to go from the base camp to the top of the mountain.We used only this way as a trekking to the top of the mountain during that time.It take along 6 or 7 hours walk from the base to the top of the mountain.We need to go to the top because our pagoda is at the edge of the top mountain.It is also nice to enter the nature of mountain forest by walking and you can get many beautiful scenery and nature views.You can get so fresh air and many good surrounding there.

After developing...We had to choose truck bus way from the base camp to half way of the mountain or to the top of the mountain.
Most of the people chose by truck bus from the base camp to the half way of the mountain.It take along 30 minutes by truck for the half way.
After that we have to walk 45 minutes from the halfway to the top of the mountain.
If you have no time...you can take directly from the base camp to the top with the truck bus available.

In this morden age...There are many ways to go to the top of the mountain.I mean Walking & Truck bus and Sky Roller.
Sky Roller is available from the half way to the top of the mountain.
If you want to see higher surrounding of the mountain..you should take Sky Roller.

I recommend from the base to the half way of the mountain with the truck bus and then take a walk 45 minutes as a trekking from the half way to the top.I prefer that way.

How to go there...

If you are Yangon city..you can use directly to the base camp by bus or car.It take about 4 hours by bus.And then you can choose the way from the base to the top.

If you want to use from Yangon to there by train..you did not reach direct to the base camp.Train is only arrived to the Kyaik Hto city and you need to take a bus or car from Kyaik Hto city to the base camp.So Train is not the good way to go to the trip of mountain pagoda.

For Accommodation
There are many hotels..Motels and guest houses at the base camp or at the top of the mountain.
You can stay a cheap price at the base camp but a little expensive to stay at the top of the mountain.

For Foods and Restaurants
There are many restaurants at the base camp and also at the top.
You can eat burmese foods - (rice and curries) and chinese foods and others.
All food price must be a little expensive at the top of the mountain.

For Souvenir
There are some of bamboo crafts & elephant tail rings and vegetable jams and some of burmese medicines was made by forest nature trees.
You can buy all these as souvenirs of this golden trip.

There are many pagodas to visit around the top of the mountain.There are also a famous waterfall to visit around the top of the mountain.If you want to go there..you need to take a truck bus 20 minutes from the top to there.The water is so cool and we can swim and play only a few minutes at the waterfall.

And the other things is...you can take so nice sunrise and sunset view photos at the top of the mountain.
You can get many nice nature view photos and amazing pagoda photos and amazing of mountain views as well.

Weather

The weather is so cool especially at the cold season.You can get cool fresh air and good relax with amazing nature of the mountain.
You will be more happiness and refreshness by travelling to an amazing mountain pagoda trip.
Most of the people go there at the cold season.
And you can visit the summer season as well.
But there are not a good visit to travel to the Golden Rock pagoda in the rainy season because it can be a heavy rain at the mountain driving road.

You will get and see an incredible mountain pagoda - Golden Rock stupa.This is a wonderful place of my country Myanmar.

So I wanted to publish this amazing mountain trip by the end of last year.
It is so interesting and nice place of my country Myanmar.
