Church & Celebration: A Blessed Sunday with Loved Ones

A day together with my family was awesome and it was last Sunday that we went to the church together with them but last Sunday was different because there was a post-celebration from one of the member from the church.

It was my wife's little sister who just graduated from college and her father (a pastor) together with their family, decided on celebrating their small feast during Church day which was was Sunday.

Although, the graduation day was on last Friday and after 2 days that they will have to put the celebration during Church day. The lasts for three hours of gospels, songs, testimonies, and stuffs related to church and it started at 9 in the morning and will end for more or less than 12 at noon.

We listened to the gospel as the pastor preach the good word from GOD and his experience or testimonies during the gospel. We were also focused on listening while we were tending to our daughter that has a bit of fever at that time but thankfully, she is okay now and she is more active than it was before.

Some kids were playing around the place and we know that kids are kids that they will look for something or do something that will interests them no matter what. They love to run, walk, or even play with other kids.

After we finished from the church, we waited for a couple of minutes because they said that they have some food that they've prepared for us. We were surprise and happy to see that it was Pork Lechon that they prepared for us.

We wen together to the table where the lechon and then we started picking up from the lechon because they were chopping the lechon little by little. One of my favorite part of the lechon is the skin because it's very crispy and it's very yummy.

Every time that there is a lechon, I am eyeing only for the skin but I will only pick for the skin that is crispy because there were chewy skin and I really don't like it. If I have no choice, so be it and I will pick those ones.

But at that time that we were lining up and getting the lechon, which is lunch time, most of parts that I am picking was the lechon skin and I pick the skin that is crispy.

You know, lechon is one of the famous and expensive food in Filipinos and you will see these kind of food when there is some events or occasions like birthdays, weddings, or graduation just like this.

Although, there were some stores that sells this lechon but only for a specific day that they sell because it's not every day that the Lechon will be bought all the time. Also, these lechon were very expensive when you buy this one.

It was an awesome day not for me and my family but also to the people in church because we listened and learn about the gospels and after listening or after the church, there was a post celebration for it.
