Thank God it’s Friday!
I’m already feeling excited because the weekend is just around the corner—only one more day to power through before it’s time for some well-deserved me time! LOL 😄
Anyway, how are you doing today? I hope you're having a wonderful day—one that’s even better than yesterday. Wishing you good vibes and a smooth end to your week!
I’ve always loved food—and honestly, who doesn’t? Especially when it comes to good food! Thailand offers a huge variety of dishes, and of course, I’m always excited to try as many as I can—especially the street food.
But that enthusiasm gets a little toned down when I’m traveling with my wife. She’s not a big eater, so sometimes the food ends up on my plate instead. Plus, she’s a bit picky when it comes to choosing where to eat—especially when it comes to cleanliness. So while I’d love to dive into every street food stall I see, I usually have to be a little more selective when we’re together.
So , this is where we have for our brunch for our second days in Bangkok , Thailand . Remember , the food we have after we touch down in Bangkok yesterday ? LINK HERE // This is just opposite this place after we found out that the place was closing in the morning .
I was a little bit disappointed that they didn’t have Pad Kra Pao for breakfast. Instead, they only served a few types of soup and noodles, along with rice mixed with beef, which seemed to be their specialty.
Here was the menu—and what made me really happy was how affordable everything was compared to the prices at shopping malls or tourist attractions.
To be honest, I had no idea what to order, so my wife and I just pointed at the dishes that looked good to us for brunch. Sometimes, that’s the best way to try something new—just go with your gut (literally)!
Here’s the drink menu—but we didn’t order anything from it since we brought our own bottled water. Gotta save a few dollars to spend elsewhere, right?
Let’s take a quick look around the restaurant. It wasn’t fancy—just a simple, local eatery—but I believe it probably gets quite busy during lunch hours or receives a lot of online orders.
Surprisingly, the place was very clean, which made the whole experience even better.
After a short wait, the food finally arrived—and it looked absolutely delicious. And yes, it tasted just as good as it looked!
I definitely approve the taste! And the best part—we only spent around $5 for the entire meal. Not bad at all, right? Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the name of the dishes we ordered. If any of you know what they’re called in Thai—or what similar dishes are called in your country—I’d love to hear from you in the comments below.
After finishing our meal, we continued walking for the rest of the day. It turned out to be another awesome adventure!
That’s all from me for today. I’ll be sharing more about our journey soon, so stay tuned and see you in the next post. Cheers!
Wow! The food looks good. I'm happy you enjoyed your meal. Thailand really has many tasty dishes. I'm excited to see more on your trip. Enjoy always!
