My Daily Post: "A Simple But Very Enjoyable Birthday Surprised to Me"

As we arrived at the street, the place was very quite and only few vehicles passing by and full of passengers. This is one of the slightest problem always happens here everytime when we went to the market or in our Residential area in Barangay Punta silum, it needs to wait a few minutes or almost an hour before we finally ride in a passenger vehicle.

As a few minutes of kept waiting for any passenger vehicles, finally we ride and started to travel going to the Market. It only takes a few minutes depends on how fast the vehicle is. Aside of that, riding in a vehicle called Tuk-tuk is very comfortable. As we arrived at the Market, we started to looked for diapers and milk not knowing that my husband was also planning to brought some foods for my birthday.

Fast Forward....

As we completely finished buying the materials we need just like Lumpia, Marinated chicken, diapers and milk, I nearly forgot to buy brown sugar for our ripe banana. After that, we decided to hurry went back home so we can start cooking and it was really surprised for me. I preffered to choosed spicy flavor for marinated chicken and my Daughter loves to eat slight spicy Flavor food.

While having a busy day yesterday, suddenly one of the bamboo was leaning towards the electric wires and we felt worried about it that might be having a power interruption because of the Problem. While my Husband's Father was busy cooking the food, my Husband also called the line men to do clearing operations of the Bamboo. After a few minutes, they arrived and started to cleared and cut those bamboos and we are very thankful about it.

After almost an hour of cooking activities, all foods was ready to served but it was still 11 in the morning so we decided to pell the ripe bananas so we can start to cook. It takes a few minutes of peeling while my husband was also very busy shredding the coconut so we can extract coconut milk. Good thing we have lots of ripe bananas and we can add this for the simple celebration but very enjoyable, my Special day.

My Husband is very expert for cooking latik snacks, and He learned this from his Parents. Eating latik snacks is a perfect snacks and also my Favorite and Expectedly to eat lots of it because there are lots of ripe bananas we cooked. Cooking this kind of food only takes 50 minutes. As the foods and snack are ready, we started to eat the food but before that, they do praying the food and also for me as a birthday celebrant.

After that, we decided to went to the coastal areas to take for a swim in the sea water. Last day, we celebrated the Feast of Saint John the Baptist and expected to have lots of beach goers. I was very happy for the surprised that my Husband gave to me and I am very thankful about the love and care He gave to me. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
