PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 18 July 2025
Greetings everyone, the latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended a couple of hours ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I put up each of my lineup to face my opponent based on the rulesets.
Conclave Arcana frays are live in brawl, the modern fray is no longer Chaos Legion and Rebellion but now it will be Conclave Arcana and Rebellion which is fray 3. I do own some Conclave Arcana cards right now so it's time to dive into competing in brawls with Conclave Arcana and Rebellion cards for the modern fray. While I do have cards, but they are definitely not optimal and will require me to acquire more assets. So let's get right o with the brawl report.
Brawl 1

| Selection: | Lost Legendaries and Keep Your Distance. When we have such a ruleset, I am expecting that I will be facing magic and range cards. And as such, I used the dwarf bloodline which will allow me to get void and use it as a tank while supported by other cards that can slam hard on my opponent, especially Kha'zi Conjurer. Used a Moxian Rebel combination in this match up as well for a speed boost. |
| Outcome: | Win! Everything went as plan with the void and the rest slamming hard towards my opponent and bit by bit, the whole lineup was chewed away. Off to a good start! |

| Selection: | Broken Arrow, Equal Opportunity and Tis But Scratches. On this, it is quite clear cut that I should either load my lineup with magic cards or melee cards that can do big damage hiding in the lineup. For this, Flagulon Reine is an excellent choice due to her blast and complement with oportunity, there is a chance to land 2 stray damage to adjacent cards for faster blood lust growth. |
| Outcome: | Win! Reine and Shock Trooper were beast in this match, clearing so many cards from their hidden positions in the lineup. A strong win as the magic attackers shone during the match and ensured opponent cards are trimmed before they can do more harm to my side. |

| Selection: | Little League. As much as I wanted to access my death splinter, I did not have the death archon to use and ended up picking the Dwarf Archon in order to get +2 armour and also void oppotunity. Moxian Rebel is fantastic for little league and I featured here in the match together with 2 other attackless cards. Gobalano takes the end with intent to ambush. Halfling Refugee deployed as tank. |
| Outcome: | Win! Opponent a weakness, the moment non melee cards are cleared, other than 1 magic attacker, the rest are range attackers. So with my lineup consistent barrage, it proved to painful for my opponent as they ended up becoming sitting ducks. |

| Selection: | Fog of War, Rise of Commons and Briar Patch. I think this will be quite clear cut. Strengthen the front, plant a heal and then barrage from the back. Meriput is the healer while Moxian Rebel carries another 2 attackless cards with special buffs. |
| Outcome: | Win! Opponent didn't had a good lineup to go up against what I have prepared so they fell really quickly with a single attacker on their side. |
Guild Final Tally
I was assigned 6 matches for this brawl and won 6 out of the 6 of which included 2 fleeing opponents. On top of that, an additional 3 match won due to lack of participation from other guilds. After a week of not so good performance, I have once again achieve a clean sweep for this brawl. So glad to be able to do so again but definitely I am still short of cards.
After a good bounce back from the deeps, this time around, we are still lacking wins and fell back to rank 7. Our win rate is superb but the lack of participation is hurting us big time.
Closing
We are lacking players whom can just join us and participate. It will be a bonus if you have a good collection of Conclave Arcana cards since those frays are poorly filled right now. Do check us out in the PIZZA discord and check with the guild officers to gain entry to the guild.
