Community Engagement Challenge: Conclave Arcana Presale is Over - On To The General Sale

Hi all, good day to all of you. It's time again for Community Engagement Challenge. We've had quite a good traction in the presale for Conclave Arcana with a significant number of packs sold and I am certain this will bring a new season of revival for Splinterlands whom had been losing quite a fair bit of players. I really hope there will be more players to keep the market and the matches competitive. I still remembered in the past when it was such a joy to be playing and meeting players whom really force the last bit of brain juice out of my mind to pull off a good lineup. And let's head right on the main post proper as we look ahead and see what lies ahead and look at some card preview.

Conclave Arcana

Presale is over. Fret not, general sale is coming!

If you've missed the boat on obtaining the Conclave Arcana standard packs early, fret not, general sale is here to come. While they may no longer have anymore promo cards to get by buying a number of packs, to be able to play properly in modern format, one needs to get hold of more packs in order to build up their collection and overcome your opponents accordingly. At the earliest stage, it might come into a state of confusion with many now having to rethink of their strategies after their favourite Chaos Legion cards are no longer available in modern format. For me, I am also kinda worried on how to formulate a lineup without my trusty Chaos Legion cards. So while we embrace the new Conclave Arcana set, we also help the community to improve ourselves through sharing of strategies and combos.

Today we look at some preview of some of the cards that were shared out on X.

New Cards
As the hype goes up, many new cards are being revealed and give us a glimpse of what is to come when the new set is being revealed. So let's rise to the hype and look at the various cards that have been revealed thus far.

Taye Loreswift - Coincidence? Or my eyes playing tricks on me. The first card that we will be looking at is this long hair-ed elf that probably wanna take a swing at you with her instrument. This card looks really awesome for Little League. Very nice stats, having reach at base level and subsequently boosting the lineup with Inspire. This card also can do piercing and take down flying cards with snare. All in all a decent card which I think will be acing the Little League. And the best part is, this is a neutral card means good for any splinter colour.

Zargrul - Nice to see a taunt card for water splinter. I like that it is magic based and it also had 2 other new abilities that we have yet to see before. Thanks to the sharing of other players, the new abilities are:

Bloodline Tribute - This synergize so much for a card with taunt where all allied units of the same bloodline gain stats like how martyr does and it is not just on the adjacent cards, stats is gained as long you belong to the same bloodline.

Painforge - With new cards having things like doing damage to cards for bigger stats or even have burning, these will actually make Zargrul be boosted up. As these self inflicted damage actually allow Zargrul to grow its attacking power.

And the icing on the cake will be expose which helps to remove those "shield" like abilities like void, immunity, shield etc. A crazy card when moved to the max level.

Archmage Yabanius - Wow, a water dragon dual card and it does resemble Splinterlands boss Yabapmatt himself. This is one card that I really think is a pain to face with so great abilities on it. With camouflage, it will already gain significant sustainability. I am not sure what the 2nd ability is but when I look at the remaining 3 abilities, the just wreck at form of defence with ease. Shatter smashes armour, stun forces cards to miss a turn and lastl relentless strike ignores all the defensive abilities that reduce damage and adds an additional 1 damage to sweeten the deal. This card gonna be expensive for sure considering the mix of abilities that it contain.

As we continue to look at more cards that have been revealed, Conclave Arcana is really going to shake us up. Artwork wise it has been really good and I really like how the cards are drawn. Many new abilities to look out for and for sure many hours of training trial and testing needs to be done to understand the cards better.

Wrap Up
The lead up to Conclave Arcana is just so amazing and exciting. There is so much to look forward and the new mechanics and new stuff that will be introduced when this new set arrives is just like me scratching on the floor and hoping it can come sooner. The end of Chaos is drawing near, the new age of Conclave Arcana is fast upon us. Do not wait too long as time will past us fast and it might be too late when you realize you cannot compete properly in modern.
