Unlike previous seasons, I couldn't purchase a Legendary Draw immediately after the last season ended because I had spent over 30,000 Glint on Common and Rare draws; since a Legendary Draw costs 70,000 Glintβan amount I didn't have at the timeβI had to wait. However, after about half the season had passed, I had earned enough Glint to buy one, so I went ahead and purchased a Legendary Draw without delay. Now, with only five days left in the current season, it will be extremely difficult to accumulate another 70,000 Glint, but I will do my best to gather as much as possible. Even if I don't end up buying another Legendary Draw by the season's end, having a large amount of Glint is beneficial; if I skip the Legendary Draw, I will most likely purchase Rare draws instead, and I want to have plenty of Glint available for that as well.

I spent a total of 70,000 Glint on this draw, purchasing just one Legendary draw. Unlike chests, this draw guarantees a Legendary card; however, the chance of getting a Gold Foil version is normally 1%. Using Alchemy Potions doubles this to 2%βstill a low probability, but worth a shot. An important point to note is that, unlike draws of other rarities, opening a Legendary draw requires 20 Alchemy Potions. At a cost of 99 Glint per potion, that adds up to 1,980 Glint. So, if you purchase a Legendary draw hoping for a Gold Foil card, the total expenditure comes to 71,980 Glint; while a Legendary card is guaranteed, there is no guarantee of getting a Gold Foil one.

Well, just like every other time, I didn't manage to pull the Gold Card this time either; however, there is no doubt that this is an excellent card. I say this because I have seen it battle against me many times, and its performance is always impressive. This is Savaketh, a Death-element magic card from the Tideborn Bloodline. With a mana cost of 9, it boasts a magic attack power of 2 right at Level 1. Additionally, its speed stands out; the base speed is 3, which is above average compared to other cards available in Splinterlands. After great attack power and speed, you need solid health to help you hold your ground defensively after an offensive push, and as you can see, its health is quite impressive too. I am now looking forward to upgrading this card to Level 2, as it will gain a new ability called "Redemption." With this ability, whenever the card is defeated, it deals 1 point of physical damage to all enemy cards.
