A A friend of mine from high school came to say hi to me today and tell me some news that would have been horrible to me, but in the end I was able to understand it better. After 8 years of working in a bakery, she said she quit because I couldn't stand working there anymore. For those who don't know or my fellow readers from abroad, "quitting" is the same as going to your boss and saying "I'm quitting", so that's what she did.

But what really bothered me was that we usually don't do this, because resigning means that you've also given up receiving many things that you've accumulated over the years of work. When we do this, we give up the right to receive unemployment insurance. and the 40% fine on the FGTS balance (the worker loses the right to unemployment insurance and the 40% fine on the FGTS balance), for example.

That's why, when we want to leave a job, we often talk to the our employer so that we can reach an agreement that is good for both parties. Anyway, my friend said that despite having been there for 8 years and having suffered from various stressful situations, her employer had no interest in improving anything, much less firing her, so, what happened was that both of them just put off the situation and saw what would happen. Well, that moment arrived and she resigned.

The incredible thing about all this is her tranquility, because for me it would be crazy to simply give up the payments and unemployment insurance because I resigned, so much so that despite not being satisfied with where I have worked for 13 years, I continue here, doing my part. She said she had the support of her husband, her family, so that gave her the courage to make the decision and the reason for all this, as already explained between the lines of this text, was stress, tiredness, the lack of improvements. and salary growth, in addition to the frequent demands he received from his employer.

With that, what I can say is that money is not everything and even though we live after it, to improve our quality of life, some people understand that money It's good, yes, but it's not everything and that mental and physical health are priceless and therefore should be taken seriously, as she did. This reminds me of when I started at Hive, with 2 posts per day, 7 days of the week, it was crazy, then I reduced it to 7 posts per week and today, I make a point of only posting from Monday to Friday and sometimes on the weekend.

And that's it folks, money isn't everything, sometimes you just have to put it aside This insane desire to get rich or earn a lot of money for the sake of your health is the best thing we do! Giving up material goods to keep our mental health intact, think about it!

Uma amiga minha da época do ensino médio veio me falar um oi hoje e contar uma novidade que para mim seria horrível, mas, no final das contas, consegui entender melhor. Depois de 8 anos de trabalho em uma panificadora, ela disse que pediu conta porque não aguentava mais trabalhar lá. Para aqueles que não sabem ou meus amigos leitores de fora, “pedir as contas” é o mesmo que chegar em nosso patrão e falar “eu me demito”, então foi isso que ela fez.

Só que o que mais me deixou encabulado, é que geralmente não fazemos isso, porque pedir demissão quer dizer que você abriu mão também de receber muitas coisas que acumula durante os anos trabalhados. Quando fazemos isso, renunciamos ao direito de receber o seguro-desemprego e à multa de 40% sobre o saldo do FGTS (o trabalhador perde o direito ao seguro-desemprego e à multa de 40% sobre o saldo do FGTS) por exemplo.

Por isso, muitas vezes quando queremos deixar um emprego, conversamos com o nosso empregador para podermos entrar em algum acordo que fique bom para os dois lados. O incrível disso tudo é a tranquilidade dela, pois para mim seria uma loucura simplesmente abdicar dos recebimentos e seguro-desemprego por que pedi demissão, tanto que apesar de não estar satisfeito onde trabalho há 13 anos, continuo aqui, fazendo a minha parte. Ela disse que teve o apoio do marido dela, da família dela, então isso deu coragem para ela tomar a decisão e o motivo disso tudo, como já meio explicado entre as linhas deste texto, foi o estresse, o cansaço, a falta de melhorias e evolução salarial, além das frequentes cobranças que recebia de seu empregador.

Com isso, o que posso dizer é que o dinheiro não é tudo e mesmo que a gente viva atrás dele, para melhorar a nossa qualidade de vida, algumas pessoas entendem que dinheiro é bom, sim, mas não é tudo e que a saúde mental e física não tem preço e, portanto, devem ser levadas a sério, como ela fez. Isso me faz lembrar de quando comecei na Hive, com 2 posts por dias, 7 dias da semana, era uma loucura, depois diminui para 7 posts por semana e hoje, faço questão apenas de postar de segunda a sexta e algumas vezes no final de semana.

E é isso pessoal, dinheiro não é tudo, às vezes deixar de lado essa vontade insana de enriquecer ou ganhar muito dinheiro em prol da sua saúde é o melhor que fazemos! Prescindir do bem material, para deixar inteiro a nossa sanidade mental, pense nisso!
