Another Mass Shooting in a Church at Alabama leaving Three Persons Dead
The shooting incident raised to a different level of recent now as the dilemma of which church will be the next is a thing of fear and something to be scared of. What is the world now turning into as lives are now taken as that of an animal, even animals have right to live. Its now becoming rampant and less common that someone will pick a gun,enter to any particular congregation of choice and starts shooting for no reason. The recent happening being the shooting that occurred in Birmingham at Alabama Church.
The death toll from a shooting inside an Alabama church near Birmingham rose to three on Friday, hours after authorities said the suspected gunman was an "occasional attendee of the church."The suspect, identified Friday as Robert Findlay Smith, 70, was attending a “Boomers Potluck” gathering at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Vestavia Hills on Thursday. At some point Smith allegedly "produced a handgun" and "began shooting," said Vestavia Hills police Capt. Shane Ware."The suspect has previously attended services at this church," Ware said source
Drawing a scenario of the last strike in Nigeria that lead to the killing of hundreds still in the church is still pointing to this strike that led to the death of three persons already. Could this be a fight against religion or could it be against gatherings any at all or generally specific to different churches as this increase in mass shooting in the church is becoming alarming. Looking at it this way, it seems no where is safe as at the moment because it has been Communised as one can be killed when at home and then it has gone to a different level that if not found at home, the church been a sacred place is no reduced in human eyes as a place of shedding blood and killing the masses. Was this what we bargained for as these death rate is on the increase.
Thursday’s shooting happened just over a month after one person was killed and five injured when a man opened fire on Taiwanese parishioners at a church in Southern California. Taking a good look at the documentary is that the issue of shooting in the church wherein is a place meant for joy and worship to the creator has been quite there and also something that could have been an old story as it could have been thought that government that tackled and pressed it down now surfaced again. Maybe passing of bills to gun control will help out as lives are at stake with indiscriminate shootings and killings .
