PROTECT YOUR BACKLINE - SPLINTERLANDS PT/EN

As composições de Splinterlands requerem grande atenção para conseguir criá-las da melhor forma possível pois há muitos fatores que devem ser considerados. Hoje eu abordarei um desses fatores que é muito relevante principalmente contra determinados elementos que é proteger sua backline.

Esta é uma preocupação que deve se fazer presente nas partidas em que há muitas chances do oponente escolher composições físicas como é o caso da regra Up Close and Personal . Não havendo uma regra para facilitar a previsão você deve olhar o histórico de batalhas do oponente para identificar quais as composições dos elementos que ele mais utiliza.

Quase todos os elementos possuem estratégias compostas por muitas cartas com Sneak, mas as que são mais comuns são Fogo e Vida. Se houverem chances do oponente montar composições de assassinos você deverá estar preparado para proteger sua backline com unidades mais resistentes ou com alta capacidade de esquiva.

The compositions of Splinterlands require great attention to be able to create them in the best possible way as there are many factors that must be considered. Today I'm going to address one of those factors that is very relevant especially against certain elements which is protecting your backline.

This is a concern that should be taken into account in matches where there are many chances for the opponent to choose physical compositions such as the Up Close and Personal rule . Since there is no rule to facilitate the prediction, you should look at the opponent's battle history to identify which element compositions he uses the most.

Almost all elements have strategies consisting of many cards with Sneak, but the most common are Fire and Life. If there is a chance that the opponent will build assassin compositions you should be prepared to protect your backline with stronger units or with high dodge ability.

Neste exemplo eu escolhi duas unidades com alta vida que conseguiriam sobreviver por mais tempo, garantindo que meu maior causador de dano (Silvershield Assassin) conseguisse ficar vivo tempo suficiente para destruir todo o time inimigo.

Já o meu adversário optou por montar uma composição com muito dano na linha de trás e habilidades de suporte para curar infinitamente o seu tank, entretanto essa estratégia só seria 100% viável se o tank escolhido possuísse a habilidade Taunt ou se a regra Fog of War estivesse presente.

In this example I chose two high health units that would survive the longest, ensuring that my highest damage dealer (Silvershield Assassin) managed to stay alive long enough to destroy the entire enemy team.

My opponent, on the other hand, chose to build a composition with a lot of backline damage and support skills to infinitely heal his tank, however this strategy would only be 100% viable if the chosen tank had the Taunt skill or if the Fog of War rule was present.

Percebam que a composição do oponente não é ruim, ele possui muito dano e a capacidade de manter o Tank vivo e impedir que o dano do Blast se espalhe por causa do Reflection Shield, entretanto não ter nenhuma garantia de que o oponente focará somente o tank é o maior ponto fraco da composição.

O fato de não ter protegido sua backline utilizando um tank com Taunt fez com que sua ótima composição fosse facilmente derrubada em um único round com os Sneaks eliminando 4 unidades, enquanto suas cartas focaram na minha linha de frente que estava preparada para aguentar maiores danos.

Os dois ataques do Silvershield Assassin eliminaram duas unidades de uma só vez, enquanto o poderoso golpe do Sand Worm devastou os dois curandeiros do time inimigo!

Note that the opponent's composition is not bad, he has a lot of damage and the ability to keep the Tank alive and prevent the Blast damage from spreading because of the Reflection Shield, however there is no guarantee that the opponent will only focus on the tank is the biggest weakness of the composition.

The fact that he didn't protect his backline using a tank with Taunt meant that his great composition was easily taken down in a single round with the Sneaks eliminating 4 units, while his cards focused on the my front line that was prepared to take more damage.

The Silvershield Assassin's two attacks took out two units at once, while the Sand Worm's powerful blow devastated both healers on the enemy team!

Espero que esta partida tenha conseguido mostrar a importância de estar preparado para enfrentar composições que não atacarão somente a frontline, pois mesmo que sua composição seja ótima se ela não possuir nenhuma proteção contra esses ataques (seja utilizando alguma habilidade ou se aproveitando das regras de combate) você estará sujeito à perder suas melhores unidades facilmente contra esses assassinos.

I hope this match managed to show the importance of being prepared to face compositions that will not only attack the frontline, because even if your composition is great if it doesn't have any protection against these attacks * (either using some skill or taking advantage of the rules of combat)* you will be liable to lose your best units easily against these assassins.

Your opponent took the risk of focusing his/her defense on their main tank. Unfortunately for them, you managed to predict and take them down from behind.
