My Battle With ASH MIRAGE For Splinterlands Battle Challenge

Let's talk about ASH MIRAGE this week for the Share your Battle Challenge. ASH MIRAGE is a very powerful monster with powerful abilities that attacks the target with Ranged Attacks. Ash Mirage, in particular, with the Headwinds Ability can be very useful to the team in battles, allowing monsters in the team to take less damage from Ranged Attackers. Also, Ash Mirage attacks enemies with devastating Ranged Attacks, causing them to take serious damage.

ASH MIRAGE has the Headwinds Ability at level 1 and the Reflection Shield Ability at level 6. Ash Mirage is a powerful Fire Monster with two very powerful abilities that can be very effective in battles and very useful to the team.

• Headwinds Ability : Reduces the Ranged attack of all enemy Monsters.
• Reflection Shield Abilit : This Monster doesn't take damage from Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns, or Return Fire.

ASH MIRAGE, An COMMON NFT Card, is currently starting at $0.24 on the market. The Gold ASH MIRAGE NFT card is currently starting at $3.06 on the market. In addition, it is possible to rent the Regular one for about 0.09 DEC and the Gold one for about 0.1 DEC per day. These prices are valid for level 1 (The gold one starts from level 2), prices may increase as the level rises. Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) is currently trading at $0.00073.

Frankly, when I consider its abilities, I was surprised that the prices were quite cheap. Currently my ASH MIRAGE NFT card is at level 1 and I'm aiming to upgrade it to level 6 soon. And I would love to upgrade to level 10 in the future.

My Strategy

The battle ruleset had Counterspell and Briar Patch rules, indicating that both teams would prefer Ranged Attack Monsters in this battle. That's why I chose QUIX THE DEVIOUS as the Summoner. QUIX THE DEVIOUS reduces the Speed of all enemy monsters by -1 and the Ranged Attack of all enemy Ranged Attack Monsters by -1. And by adding ASH MIRAGE to my team, I once again reduced the Ranged Attack of all enemy Ranged Attack Monsters by -1. This meant that the Ranged Attack of all enemy Ranged Attack Monsters would be reduced by -2 in this battle. And on my team I put GRUM FLAMEBLADE in the first position and my powerful Ranged Attack Monsters in the other positions. I believed that with this strategy, the probability of winning the battle was quite high.

Battle Comments

Round 1

We teamed up with almost the same strategy as the opposing player, but the opposing player's summoner selection was different. QUIX THE DEVIOUS had given my team a huge advantage in this battle. Also, it was not surprising that both teams had ASH MIRAGE, as it was one of the indispensable monsters of this type of battle.

Before the battle started, the strength of the two teams appeared to be similar, but when their Attack power and speed were reduced, it was obvious that my team was quite powerful.

Round 2

In the first round, a monster on the opposing team was destroyed so the opposing team started the second round with one monster missing, but all the monsters on my team were alive. Both teams put their full strength in the second round and both teams were destroyed in the GRUM FLAMEBLADE.

Round 3

In the third round, the opposing team had lost their very important monster, which meant they would lose the battle. In my team, everything was going well.

The battle lasted 6 rounds and at the end of the battle, my 4 monsters were still alive. That showed my strategy was working pretty well. Frankly, it would have been very difficult for me to win such a battle without QUIX THE DEVIOUS and ASH MIRAGE.

ASH MIRAGE is indeed a very powerful Monster. A monster that can be very useful to the team, especially with its Headwinds Ability. In addition, the Reflection Shield Ability is a ability that I need in many battles, and I plan to upgrade my card to level 6 in these days when the prices are quite affordable. In this way, ASH MIRAGE will be much more useful to my team.
