Its been months since I last went over my HIVE goals. My main focuses haven't changed. I want to keep growing my overall HIVE account with increasing my HIVE Power and secondary tokens such LEO, POB and MEME. I had the goal of reaching 10,000 HIVE Power for the longest time and it looks like I'm nearing that with 9,219 being my current total. I do plan on making a couple bigger size power-ups once it makes sense to trade a portion of the current assets I hold for HIVE Tokens. Which won't be until we are out of this downward trending market. To be honest, personally I think HIVE's current price is still at a decent spot. While it dipped slightly its roughly holding at the $0.50 cent point or just below. Considering all that is going on in today's current world, I think that is a healthy price point.

Splinterland Goals

I decided to invest in Tower Defense (A new game created by the Splinterlands team). The Alpha SPL Tower Defense set has a relatively small pack total which (depending on combining mechanisms) should make the set more rare when compared to the recent Splinterland sets. Currently I hold 575 Tower Defense packs which are named NIGHTMARE. The packs themselves cost 8,000 DEC OR 5,000 DEC + 1 VOUCHER each ($8 USD Or $5 USD + 1 Voucher). I intend on purchasing more but I'm undecided if I will purchase from the official Splinterlands market or secondary markets such as LeoDex and HIVE-ENGINE. I hold allot of Splinterland assets and at current time not a whole lot of anything else so I plan on selling some of my assets for HIVE. I'll be repositioning in Splinterlands and investing in other projects I been wanting to dip my toe in. Current plan is to up my DEC earnings and sell that (if it gets back to peg). I'll then use those funds to increase my overall cryptocurrency portfolio and HIVE Power.

Gamer Goals

There is other games in which I want to support such as Crypto-Shots and PSYBERX. Finding the time to do so is a daunting task. Creating posts (helping with advertisement) is easy as it comes naturally to me and doesn't take me much time as writing about them doesn't require much research. In regards to the PSYERX game I hold nearly 1.2 Million of its native token named Level which can be purchased on any of the HIVE Dex's. Truth be told I been neglecting my LEVEL holdings as I feel as I could easily be holding much more at current time but as mentioned earlier there just isn't enough time to participate in it all. The Crypto-Shots giveaways have recently restarted on my blog courtesy of the Crypto-Shots team. Ongoing at current time is a FREE raffle for a $40 Crypto-Shots asset. Some view these two games as competition to each other. I view them as one complementing the other. The more successful projects we have on HIVE the better it is for the whole ecosystem. We are all in this together. We are all pioneers of this new awesome thing called WEB 3.0.

Delegation Goals:

I have been wanting to delegate to projects for awhile now but not at micro quantities. My original thought was to get to 10,000 HIVE Power and anything over that amount will go to the projects I wanted to delegated to at a predetermined ceiling. With my HIVE Power growing at a snail pace its not a viable goal. So I decided I'll start my delegation progress now and first up is delegating to PSYBERX. This allows me to start accomplishing my already mentioned goals in the Gamer Goals section. This will momentarily decrease my own upvote power but if my projections are correct I should be able to purchase some HIVE in the upcoming weeks to use for a Power Up thus increasing my overall vote power. *Note: The PSYBERX delegation will be delegated by the end of the day (11/01/2022). I got some upvoting to do first :)

Scrapped Goal / New Goal?

In my previous goals update I mentioned I wanted to hold 5,000 Chaos Legion Packs. This was before all the recent new additions to Splinterlands. Such as Tower Defense, Runi and the Soccer game that is in development. In order to make way to invest in Tower Defense I have opted out of increasing my Chaos Legion packs. Its possible I still might purchase more but currently I'm happy with the stack I hold. I'm undecided if I'll invest in the soccer game but I'm leaning towards yes as I believe its possible the game could be huge. If its successful at bridging the gap between WEB 2.0 and WEB 3.0 gamers it will be something to behold and it would be cool to be a small part of that somehow. Purchasing just a handful of packs gets you there. Personally I'm considering a 100 Pack purchase but nothing is set in stone yet.

Conclusion

I have been a slacker recently but am content with my overall growth since my last My Hive Goals post. I did manage to increase my Level holdings by about 20% when weighted against my original Level holdings of one million Level so that isn't terrible. I still intend on increasing my SPT holdings but I'm almost certain the token is going to continue to dip in trade value. Its current price is a far cry from its peak price. Which is to be expected now that SPT doesn't have any significant use case anymore. I'm still holding out for the Splinterlands team to do something with it but SPT likely is not even close to being on their mind as there is allot of stuff going on at current time in the Splinteverse. I'm sure there is something I'm leaving out of my goals list (that I'll likely remember after I click the post button) but that's it for now.
