We had another interesting "freestyle show" where the participants were navigating the boat with topics and it was interesting to jump from one topic to another... Also, it looks like nobody read my announcement post for the show (or my suggested topics were boring 😃) as we were chatting and talking about completely different things... Btw. just a reminder, these SE (special edition) shows are not recorded, and if you want to be a part of them you will have to come and attend them live! The idea is to do them once per month (on the last humpday (Wednesday) in a month)!

Before I dive into what happened in the show, just a heads-up about the next show... If everything goes according to plan, we will have a special guest next Wednesday (05.06.2024)! You don't want to miss that one!

First things first, we had another great show with over 17 people attending during the show and around 13 on its peak (which we had multiple 😂)... @chocolatescorpi broke the ice and threw in the first question rather spontaneously, and we began talking about tea, chocolate, alcohol, and in the end, stuck with usernames as a first "official topic" of the show... How we got them (created, invented), how they stuck to us, and the meanings behind them...

Among others, @chocolatescorpi, @rarej, @relf87, and @trexane shared the stories of their usernames, but as I'm not sure if all of them want to share that with a wider audience, I will not reveal them here... 🙂 Also, others shared their nickname's stories in the chat!

Somehow, we were redirected to the "early retirement" topic and who would (not) like to do it... As some of the participants were close to "ordinary" retirement, we had to check out the age of participants, which was a topic that brought a lot of laughs among participants... 😂 Anyway, the general conclusion was that we would wait to HIVE hit some crazy high price and we can do a collective early retirement... (maybe buy an island and name it after HIVE... just an idea... 😂)

@chocolatescorpi was inspired that evening and she brought up another topic on the table... Do we want to create a positive long-lasting impact on the world, and how to do it? She also shared an idea of how we could use websites like Kiva.org for onboarding people to HIVE! This led to another idea of creating a site like Kiva.org on HIVE!! Any developers around?
On the topic of legacy on HIVE, @felixxx reminded us that actually, all posts written on HIVE are stored in the blockchain forever! So, everyone is leaving a footprint!

Close to the end of the show, we were talking about tokens that we have in our crypto portfolios, the problems of being "over-diversified", and the issue of chasing new tokens without doing proper research...

At the end of the show, @relf87 asked about the inflation in participants' countries, and we all ranted simultaneously... lol... Inflation is crazy all over the world and it's killing family budgets everywhere...

As I said at the beginning, we had 17 people (including myself) in the show and I would like to thank everyone for participating in the show! Yes it was a great show and I thoroughly enjoyed the people the topics, the conversations and ofcourse the laughs- After all, laughter is the best medicine and after my past few months, laughter has been very illusive in my life lately, so thank you for allowing me to join in and have a laugh with everyone.

It sounds like an interesting show. Sometimes things don't go as plan but then again, there was no focus of the show.

Inflation is pretty crazy everywhere. I blame the government for their irresponsible spending as they use our taxes for whatever they want.

Well, the plan was to keep the stage open for participants... I have just suggested a topic, but the idea was to go whenever the audience wanted to go... and it was like that... 😂

Money printing without any control is the main issue IMO, but we had many other things on top of that...

Great to see felixx always showing up, man has been incredible on the chain for many years, supporting people and fixing and helping people on the chain as well as advocating for Hive in many ways. I think one day I'll have to set a reminder because I'm constantly forgetting the time of the show

As for Hive, 10$ would be one of such prices, but this probably a long-term thing. Realistically I think the bull market might get us around $3 to 4 at max (which is also very good as well)

We are always happy to see @felixxx in the show as he really does what you say, supporting others, adding valuable inputs, etc.

Regarding HIVE, I think that most people said that (and an even bigger) number more as a joke, but who knows what could happen... I would be happy if HIVE does like what you said! That would be way over my optimistic hopes... 😃
