My remaining birds are going to be 9 weeks tomorrow which is Tuesday. Some days ago I bought a bag of feed to feed them for the next one week to sell them on scaling price since selling live Chicken presently becomes more difficult. In the next one week, they should be gone, which will give me the chance for the batch to come in.

SCALING BALANCE.

Anytime I want to sell on scaling price to the frozen,I always make sure I scale them live to predict the after dress weight. For example, when a bird weigh 4kg live, then probably after dressing,it would weight atleast 3.6kg.

After I weighed the birds, I can predict 3.7kg on average weight of all the birds. So, in the next one week with the remaining one bag of feed, I ought to be getting average weight of 4.0kg to 4.1kg. Then after dressing their average weight should be at 3.8kg.
