If I am not mistaken, these set of birds are my longest rearing birds. They are batch 7,I ought to have got them dressed for sales but due to shift in market sales in the sense that the community that I live in is determined by the presence of the students of university of Ilorin. Currently,there is a strike in academic sector. So presently, students are not around which has affected the economy of the community. Tanke community to precised with other neighboring communities like fate,basin,gaa-akanbi where these students live. Economy of this community depends solely on the availability of the students. Since The University of Ilorin was established here in the community,it has really improved the life and the development of the community.

Why I still have my birds around?

For almost like 2months now, the ASUU are on strike because federal government have not come into terms with what the ASUU(Academic Staff Union Of University). So whenever they are not around,it always really affect the community in general in terms of transportation,housing rent, people selling food stuff, eatery etc. Their absence has slow down market sales in every aspect. That's why I am hodling, feeding my birds because there is order of dressed.

My birds remain 22birds with average kilogram of 3.3kg. The 22 birds eat a bag of feed for 11days and they are adding up average of 0.4kg every week.
