It is so pathetic to think about the recent happenings all over the country ever since the governor of the central bank of our country brought about a new policing regarding making the country go Cashless. After implement this policy, it almost seem like a war since He has to try as much to impose the digital and cashless transactions to the populace.
From the look of things, this has become a total failure from the start already.
Going cashless is one of the biggest things that symbolizes growth and development in the country.

Cashless policy will have some positive effects and would create the need and use for credit cards as means of settling bills and citizens will carry less cash around for good safety reasons.
But this is showing signs of total failure

The reasons are not far fetched, a larger population of the masses are illiterate, marketers, traders and villagers, they can barely operate a mobile phone know how to make any online cash transfers and transactions, are these the kind of people to adopt Cashless transaction?

After making the citizens deposit all their monies in bank, it is a total challenge across Nigeria today to withdraw your hard earned money from the bank....

The currencies of the country got changes and this was more like the bait used to lure everyone to deposit what they have in order to get the new note.

After deposits were made, the declaration to go Cashless was announced and now we are having restrictions on withdrawing our monies from the bank

The government of countries are never to be trusted, that's why people prefer to keep their monies locked away at home to prevent this kind of happening....

The only escape route I have is that I have got some bits of education and whatever new policy is easily understood and adoptable by me.

If going cashless in a country is this difficult, when will blockchain be incorporated into our economy seeing that blockchain holds the key to the future...
Only a few of us youth have been able to adopt blockchain in the country.

I wonder how long it will take for Nigeria to adopt blockchain... Meanwhile the quality education which seem to be the bedrock of everything is still lacking.

When education is lacking, there is little or no hope for progress....

You are not far from the truth @monica-ene, this cashless policy is affecting everyone both educated and understand, I just found out that majority of our market women and men doesn't have bank account, how can they transact, I believe Nigeria government will find a way to handle this issue .

I hope so because the policy makers are having difficulty influencing the CBN governor who has the Presidency backing.
God help us
