This weekend we decided to try something different, and we went to a Japanese BBQ place. I'm from Brazil and as far as I know, there isn't a place like this there, at least not in Rio de Janeiro. Maybe in São Paulo there might be, since there is a much bigger Japanese Community. I've had lots of Brazilian BBQ, but we never tried anything like this before.
We went to a place called Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ, it's a restaurant chain and they have many restaurants all over the US. They have a few options there, where you can pay for all you can eat (with a time limit) or you can choose a la carte. We went with the second option, but we chose one of their combinations.
All the tables have a small gas barbecue in the middle, and it is smokeless. Very impressive. They bring the meats raw, and you cook it yourself, so it is also entertaining. The food was all amazing, meats and sides, and at the end we also made some smores, the kids loved it.

This is my entry for the Show Us Your California Contest organized by @thesocalhive.

Esta é minha participação no concurso Show Us Your California organizado por @thesocalhive.
