Wonderful dinner treat at Yayoi - Japanese cuisine

Stress, pressure, and rush at work are something that can't be avoided at times. Some deadlines to be beat, demanding Company owners and even clients that need to be pleased and more.
I could tolerate such as I've been working for years, so somehow I was used to the norms. I've been with different IS (immediate superiors) and group heads as I was transferred to various departments; operation, audit, and recently finance. All of them have different approaches, attitudes, and characteristics. I also came to the point of being demotivated to continue working after having a terrible IS. Though thankful I did not, I still learned something from that experience though. Not only that, not giving up leads me to get a chance to experience having an incredible lead.
She is someone down t earth, approachable, never selfish to share her knowledge, and most of all knows how to appreciate the efforts of her subordinates. Acknowledging by simple thank you, commending, or celebrating one's accomplishment in a simple snack, lunch, or dinner.
Just like the other week, after we accomplished some government non-compliances in Taxes of one of our branches, she decided we deserved a treat. Yes, I didn't do that alone. I have someone doing the fieldwork and in charge of the back end.

Initially, we were supposed to have a few drinks, but unfortunately, the resto/bar was closed for some reason. So we ended up having dinner at Yayoi, a Japanese restaurant.

Actually, it is my first time eating here as I am not into Japanese food, or I am the type who always sticks with what I am used to. Not fond of exploring something new, even with food. Yet, Ms. A, our lead, guaranteed that the food was delicious and the same time, worth the price.

The ambiance was perfect, as tables were set for groups and couples, and dining alone if you wanted to. There is no need to worry that someone might share a table with you if you prefer to be alone. Also, yes, they will give you the menu, but there is no need for the crew to wait for your order, as you can do that in a few taps.

You have a choice if you want to scan the menu first or directly place an order at the monitor placed on every table for the convenience of both parties, crew and customers.

Language, you may set in in English or Japanese, and if ever you have a concern, you may press the to call the staff.

For me, it is an excellent idea as it will be less work for the staff and less face-to-face contact. Thus, the downside was, I see in the future, this means less workforce.

For me, I chose the sukiyaki teishoku as I wanted something hot, pancit, and at the same time some meat.

Thus, I didn't expect that it would go with rice! Looking at serve after it was served to me, I know already that I will have a satisfied tummy.

We also order some sushi rolls with caviar, and I find it delicious at the same time and funny while eating. I mean, the texture of caviar in my mouth, lol.

They ordered some chicken, but I forgot what this menu is called! We didn't even order beverages as these alone were enough to make our tummy full!

See how heavy the soup is? With slices of meat, veggies, mushrooms, etc., honesty, I took time finishing my meal. No, not that it wasn't delicious, but the serving was too big for me!

We have a fun dinner while chatting about some things, anything under the sun—quite a breath of fresh air from stress at work.
