Do you think everyone has good intentions for you? That's a bad road to go down!

As far as I can tell, it is very awful to be in an environment where you are surrounded by people who are very manipulative when dealing with you. These people do a good job of approaching you with a mask on their faces while hiding their true intentions.

What's interesting about this is that so many people out there are in a relationship (all sorts of relationship you can think of) like this.

They are blinded by love or trust to the point that they find it hard to get a grip on what's real and what's not. They are with people who they see as besties, family, co-workers and they always want to naively believe that these people want the best for them.

Hmmm... Haven't y'all been burnt before?

Have you never been burnt for being naively optimistic that everyone that shows you their teeth are there to smile with you?

Lemme tell you something;

You can be the kindest, most honest or most loving being in the whole universe, but make no mistake folks... Not everyone around you has good intentions for you. They are either very good at hiding their true intentions or you are naively agreeable to whatever bullsh*t they are trying to make you believe.

I believe the latter is always the case for most people because our brain works in mysterious ways. When people are taking advantage of you, it will always be easy for your brain to send signals to you and alert you to what's going on. Unfortunately, so many people ignore that warning sign.

If you don't critically examine those around you to find out if they are genuinely worthy of your trust and time, you will sooner get to a stage in life where you will be curled up in a cubicle and your mind will yell at you for being such a loser.

Do you want to be bitten hard before you face the reality?

Well, how about you stop being such a softy due to your naive and blind trust in people?

For the record, so many people out there are bearing so many grudges in their hearts towards others because they got manipulated, got used, ragged and disposed of. If you ever think everyone coming close to you is coming to help you succeed in life, it only shows that you are going down a bad road.

Wake up and see people for who they truly are. Get far away from manipulative and toxic people.
