Two days to go until the CTP Power Up Challenge
I have had a very busy week-end and I couldn't write any posts on Sunday. I have paid the dividends to the delegators as usual and the return was slightly lower but this mainly because of the price explosion of Hive. Compared to other hive-engine tokens, CTP is holding quite well so far but still the market offers some nice opportunities to collect some cheap CTP at the moment!
Start of the CTP PUC in two days
In two days, on 1st of December, I will create a post on the @ctpsb account to start this challenge. To take part you will need to make a screenshot of your staked CTP's. This will be the starting point of the challenge. At the end of the challenge we will check the staked CTP tokens of all participants and make a ranking.
Who will be able to participate?
Everybody who owns a hive account.
What can you win?
The price money will be defined by the post rewards that we get from the posts throughout the contest. There will be prices in CTPSB tokens but also in the form of CTPSB NFT's.
Why do we run this challenge?
In order to provide interesting returns for delegators that are paid in CTP tokens, the CTPSB project is interested in seeing stable prices for the CTP token. If prices go up, the return on delegations for delegators goes up as well. With the power up challenge, we try to limit the supply of liquid tokens which has an effect on the offer in the market. If you take part in this challenge you not only contribute to get bigger curation rewards in CTP, you also help to push the CTP price higher and you help to insure high rewards for delegators. Higher rewards for delegators means more voting power for @ctpsb and more ROI for the CTPSB token. This all comes back and helps the CTP community to grow!

This is great news. I currently have a little over 777 CTP tokens so I wonder if it's some kind of sign. How long will the challenge last?

Definitely one of the most important events for the whole CTP Talk tribe and it's organized by a member of the community! With such great rewards in CTPSB tokens and NFTs, I have no doubt it will be a huge success!

This is very interesting. I have started to buy some CTP in anticipation of this contest. However, it occurs to me that currently, I do not have the buying power to be a contender. That will change in the next year or two.
Seeing how much CTP I can accumulate is very interesting and will teach me a lot about being a Hiver :-)
The contest is build in a way that gives everybody a chance to win a price. You don't have to win the contest for that ;-)
I am excited to participate in the Power Up Challenge. Everything I power up now goes toward my next milestone. I bought the CTP tokens to power up to reach 50K today. I guess the next milestone is 75K :-)
