Hello dear Splinterlands and Hive community!

My last Brawl was a great performance by topping the ladder among my guildmates and scoring an impressive 7W-2L score, unfortunately didn't have the time available to post (and brag) about it. However this time was completely the opposite as I faced great opponents and get DESTROYED!

This time I'll be analysing my lost battles and what can be learned from it!

This would be my 6th Brawl Report with the Hive Revolution Guild with @itzninjafool as our Guild Master

2nd/5th/8th Battles: Won

All three opponents Fled the battles so it would make 3 Free Wins that I'll take it anytime :

1st Battle : LOSS

Counterspell + Stampede + Super Sneak

Since there was Counterspell (less likely facing Magic) and Stampede, it's a no brainer to go Possibilus the Wise, especially in a high mana battle! However, I can take most of the Trample ability in a Super Sneak battle.

Unfortunately, my opponent totally expected my Melee heavy team and prepared a rough Counter:

• Mylor as Summoner with the Thorns Ability
• Heavy Armoured Taunt
• 6th Position Shield (+ thorns)
• Demoralize Monster

My team suffered too much Thorns damage without any sustain despite having a much higher damage, ending up in a gruelsome defeat ☹️

2nd Battle : LOSS

Fog of War + Lost Legendaries + Picking Sides

Without speaking of my composition, it was a complete one-sided destruction by the Prince Rennyn team, and most surprisingly not by Quora, but the combination of the 4 Ranged Monsters high speed & heavy damage

• Mytica Headhunter will take care of any flying unit Snare and crazy damage 5 Ranged
• Javelin Thrower attack won't be wasted on Armor with Piercing
• Uloth Dhampir Stun could never be more annoying as it procs in every round
• Beatrix Ironhand can still deal damage when placed in 1st position with Close Range

A total of 28 Mana is needed for summon these Monsters so any mid-high mana battle can fit this composition!

I never knew Price Rennyn could be this Rediculous and would be a perfect play against Mylor

3rd Battle : LOSS

Back to basics + Picking Sides + Super Sneak

Super Sneak seems not going my way in addition back to basics, I've gotta admit I've played this battle poorly but credits to my opponent:

• Conqueror Jacek adding 2 Speed (very important in back to basics) + Piercing
• Mordeus an oppressive 5 Melee Damage
• Enough low mana Meat shield thzt would deal damage thanks to Super Sneak

Great play by #almazik31! Even Kelya annoying +1 Armor won't be enough against this composition in back to basics + Super Sneak (Piercing OP)

4th Battle : LOSS

Such an unfortunately battle, I've had many monsters on the Fire team with low speed but the combination of Magic Damage, Shatter from Immortalis and Taunt that soaked so much damage, I've unfortunately lost this battle

As a matter of fact, having Sand Worm is a must in Reverse Speed and should be working on improving my Fire Deck, Mordeus could be a decent pick in this battle!

Immortalis is decent on itself in Reverse Speed as there are so decent slow monsters like Mycelic infantry and Goblin Psychic

Brawl's Result

The result was pretty awful considering I've won a single battle and lost 4 battles but thanks to the 3 Fled Opponents, I could've achieve a 4W-4L Result that I'm not really proud of.

On the bright side, I really want to try out some of these composition and see what it can bring as a result!

For my 4W - 4L performance I've got rewarded with 12.8 SPS and 831 Merits while our guild got the 6th Place in this Fray!

I've I got enough MERITS to purchase a Gladius Case, this is what I've got:
