NVIDIA numbers disappoint, Gaming sector weak

NVIDIA with weak quarter

Sales in the last quarter where almost 20 percent below the expectations and stocks fell after the company warned investors on Monday.
The lower sales where mainly due to a weak Gaming sector (-44% compared to prior quarter) which is quite central for NVIDIA with its high end GPU products.
The reason due to management is „macroeconomic headwinds“ which means to me that many gamers cannot afford to buy new graphic cards because of high inflation. This is driving prices for a lot of goods and you rather buy enough food than a new GeForce.

What do you think?

Is that a chance to buy the dip or rather get cautious at least for the next months to come?
