Staking Cub, Staking SPS and aggressively chasing Chaos Legion packs

Sundays always feel weird because is it a weekend or the start of the week? Chronologically, we could say it's the first day of the week but I'm going to watch weekend football today, so what's up with that?

Anyway, before the football even gets started, I started my day with some crypto activities like I always do. The first place I went to was my Cubfinance wallet to see if I've accumulated enough tokens to be staked.

My goal is still to get up to at least 2k LP tokens into my collection and right now, I'm still like 500 LP tokens away. To get there, I'll have to aggressively go for it.

At the time of writing, I was able to claim 150 Cub tokens. At the current value of Cub tokens, I'll need about $80 to add to the Cub/BUSD pool.

For now, I don't know any direct way to convert HBD to BUSD without an exchange or swapping for hive then BNB, So I'll pick one of those approaches. When my Cub mining activities become more lucrative, this approach will be very important for me.

Anyway, the cub that's available will be just enough to pool against some BUSD I've held in Binance exchange for a while. Throwing them together into the Cub/BUSD pool will be more rewarding than holding them individually, so I might as well.

SPS mining operation

It's weird to say this but I honestly hope prices of assets could stay low for a while. As I continue to buy the dip and increase the volume of my investments, I'd like the price of assets to be as low as possible to enable me to buy more.

One of my plans will be to get back the cake that was stolen from me and then put it back into the Cubfinance kingdom contract.

The fastest and lowest risk way for me to get cake right now is through SPS staking. Also, based on the price of SPS these days, it makes sense to invest in the token.

My rental activity has been consistently increasing the number of SPS tokens I receive. However, with the time for opening CL packs on the horizon, I'm going to drop a decent chunk of points.

I'll get a bunch of monsters in place of the CL packs though. When I open the packs, I'll compare the airdrop points with packs to the airdrop points I receive from monsters to see if it's instantaneously an improvement.

In any case, I'll still get more Airdrop points in the long run because I'm going to put most of the CL monsters into the rental market. That way, I'll be earning even more DEC and SPS tokens from the monsters.

Discount sales won't last forever

I'd like to add that if I had some spare cash right now, I'd DCA into Splinterlands assets. Virtually everything is sliding down from previous highs, so grabbing them is the best option.

This message is particularly useful for people who aren't already actively participating in the Spliterlands ecosystem and so they don't earn from either staking reards or battling.

As for me though, I'm going to continue preparing for the third Chaos Legion sale by converting different assets to credit. I'm already at $350 worth of Credit and my target is $1k, so I still have some way to go.

Also, right now, you might not understand how important it is to grab Chaos Legion monsters, but when details of the expansion come to light, you probably will. In the past, Splinterlands team has talked about a new game that is specifically tailored for the Chaos legion packs and reward monsters side of the world.

Thanks to this situation, I highly recommend that you consider loading up on CL packs and then become a frontrunner for the future market. The Splinterlands metaverse is going to be huge, in its own right, so getting in now is for the best.

Still, on the topic of the Splinterlands metaverse, I'm also observing the price of a plot of land. I intend to buy it if it ever drops to $600. However, if it doesn't ever drop, I'll just buy it in $700-800 range.

If I wait too long and Splinterlands announce any further development in the creation of the metaverse, I'll probably have to fork out upwards of $1k to buy a plot, and I don't want that.

That makes two of us, I felt bad that I used to think like this, because I felt selfish, but now I know other people think the same, am cool.

Yeah. We all want things to bend to our favour but at the end of the day, it doesn't matter how much you hope. Reality will always take eminence

Yeah mate I too wish for lower prices temporarily. Don't think I am going to get them though
